Eggwars Suggestion: Making generators

Hello everyone, I have some random suggestion that came into my mind.

Normally on 2-3-4 player maps, there are 2 iron generators, 1 gold and 1 diamonds. An idea of mine is that: You can make multiple generators using the block you want.

What you need to do
Basically, it would cost: 5 stacks of iron for a new iron generator, 2.5 stacks of gold for a new gold generator, and 1 stack of diamonds for a new diamond generator. The way that you would have to do it is that there is a designated block in the "Miscellaneous" section in the shop which would be something like a sea lantern. With that, you place it down anywhere, and you right click it, it comes up with an interface with a place where it will ask you which item you would want it to come out with. If you press the iron, it'll automatically remove the 5 stacks of iron (if you have it) and it'll start to work normally.

No, no, never. If I can get 5 stacks of diamonds in nearly every game of teaparty then how many diamonds do you think I'll have with 5 generators?
I once got a full inventory of gold (just for the lolz) That would give me a little over 14 generators and it would be easy to exploit. I would have to give you a -1 from my part, sorry.
(The way that I understood it was that you can get generators with another generator that allows you to buy that generator)

I do understand your point of view, but it would take a long time to get a lot of stuff for that. You'd have to go to mid for diamonds, wait for like 35 diamonds for level 3 and then wait. It'll be time consuming.

Yes, it is very time consuming waiting for the generators so I support this idea.

also u cant build near generators, that might be problem.

as Vvfj stated, this idea is extremely overpowered, and can combine it for even longer, boring and annoying games, as the players will get God apples for days. 10 Diamond Generators on their base? no no no. i dont like that.
