Eggwars voting system accessible to non donors?

Okay so a HUGE problem I've seen is that for whatever reason someone on the cubecraft team had the "bright" idea to make one of the perks to donators that they are the only ones allowed to vote in eggwars. See my problem here is that donators don't get perks like that on any other server I've ever been to. I play eggwars daily and have over 3 entire days worth of play time in the game. However I can't tell you how many times i've had to wait it out for hours upon hours during a game just because somebody said "hey since I pay money and you don't. Time to put the game on overpowered items and triple health!" (which another side rant is that triple health really needs to not be a thing) and while one argument against this is that "oh why don't you just quit then?" well the problem here is that your statistics are shown and you can see what your K/D and game winrate is. If you quit everytime somebody votes OP items or for triple health than it takes a toll on your overall game winrate which is unfair to non donors. Donators don't need perks because people that donate are doing just that. Donating. Nobody gets special perks for donating blood to the blood drive. Nobody gets special perks because they donated to a cancer fund. Besides one thing donors can get that we wouldn't would also be possibly special kits. That way they get something while we as the non donors who play daily aren't subjected to being forced to spend hours playing a game because somebody put the game on OP and triple health. Also it would make it so there is a possibility of actually getting to play on hardcore mode (a mode that with my 3 entire days of play time put in have never been able to play while i really want to because nobody votes for that over OP). So overall I really think this needs to change as soon as possible because it's very frustrating to me as somebody who loves the server and loves the minigame but am forced to "bow down" to the donators.

Voting is practically the only donator perk, it won't be given to non-donators.
TRUST ME, if non-donators could vote it would be even harder to get hardcore and normal because 90% of players seem to prefer overpowered.
I only do normal and hardcore, and I'm emerald.

Giving special kits to donators is against the EULA. And trust me, if it wasn't, obsidian would get full enchanted diamond gear at the START of the game. There is this one server I used to play on that wasn't EULA compliant, the top rank got a sword that could one hit a full diamond guy.

No, and sort of yes. I made a post a while back that was like yours but had some differences, them being that instead of non-donor being able to vote for everything they can only vote for normal. 9-12 non-donor vote = 1 donor vote.

I would actually like normal weighting, I could finally get rid of the gold ranks that vote for OP and triple.

Although, weighting hardcore would get annoying fast.. as basically nobody likes hardcore :(.

Note: Hardcore is my favorite, maybe it is possible that only gold votes can get demoted, higher ranks shouldn't be forced down like that ;)

True, I would say diamond down can get demoted, but diamond takes 20-24 non-donors to contradict it. I also really like hardcore, really splits apart the unexperienced fron the people who know how to play. Two donators are basically invincible in this system anyways.(unless they are both gold-down)

I just think it is extremely unfair to allow voters full reign over voting. It kind of eliminates the purpose of voting existing. Might aswell just allow people to host their own games by that standard

If you notice on the Ranks page in the shop, voting for time/item types/health/chest types and being able to use the map selector are about the only things that Premium members get, when it comes to games. Also, if non-premiums could vote then I'm sure that 99.9% of games would be some form of OP + more than normal health.

Give them access to something else or just simply stop giving them unfair advantages (it's an advantage because if they play on op 9/10 times while I normally only play op 1 out of every 15 times who do you think will be better at playing in op mode?) just because they paid money. And most servers that are the most successful (say mineplex for example. that has gamemode very similar to the cube) do not make you pay to vote. It's something that comes with the games. Not to mention voting has nothing to do with gamemodes. You guys over at the cube just like strangling money out of your fans by giving them advantages that just do not make sense as they are not on any other server.

We don't call it donator. We call it premium. Also, it's not a donation, it's a purchase. A donation is "something that is given to a charity, especially a sum of money." A purchase is "the action of buying something." When a player buys a rank from our store, they get perks on the server in return for their money that they spent.

okay then give them priority rather than the absolute. If you're going to give people voting than why take it away unless they pay 35 bucks to the server? You're basically asking them to buy another minecraft so they can vote on games. It makes little to no sense and all you do it for is because you guys needed to find a way to make people interested in buying "premium". Introduce something new as a perk. it really is not that hard.

I'm quite sure everyone told you this, but if you allow stones to vote, 90% of the games you'll join will be OP. Do you not see the spam ranks get when they join lobbies? The players that pay for ranks should be allowed to get what they paid for. Anyways, we know that many players hate OP. We also know that players love OP. So we won't be able to just remove it. (just forwarding this, not too related to the thread) Also,

Introduce something new as a perk. it really is not that hard.

Give us "great" suggestions please, if they're actually a new and nice idea, it might be added. Don't forget, it can't go against the EULA and it must be appealing to players

EDIT: Also there's no turning back is there? I'm a donor and one of the reasons why I bought gold is so I could vote for OP, if not, the only. If they let non-donors vote it would eliminate the experience of premium wouldn't it? So I think paying justifies being able to vote, and ''reign''

The Donators like me, paid for the perks, if you wanna vote you donate... Thats my opinion
