Elytra

Hello,
I have playes on a server and I could buy an elytra in eggwars (On that server it was called witchwars, it is familliar to eggwars). It lookes fun to add that to in eggwars, then the games would be a bit shorter because you don't have to build to much.

They could add this at OP mode, an elytra is waay to OP in normal mode, unless it's really expensive.

I most likely know about which server you are talking about, and indeed, using an elytra pretty funny, and it would be easy to avoid campers and bowspammers. I do agree with the other people, it must be in OP mode, and it should cost a bunch of diamonds, to prevent that players easily get it from the beginning of the game. Nice suggestion!

It would be nice if this could be implemented only in the Overpowered gamemode.
However it would be too easy to build up very high and just fly to someone his/her island and break his/her egg.
Also, you have a punch bow in EggWars. Punch bow + Elytra = infinite flight. That will be too overpowered.

So there are definitely some negatives about this one - I am sorry, but I do not support this idea. That is my conclusion. :)

Are you crazy? Adding a elytra in eggwars would be overpowerd. Unless you have enderpearls. For example it's the same. But with a elytra you don't teleport But you're flying. And you can get a lot easyer to a another island. I'm sorry But This is a -1

This is quite the same as tp'ing with an enderpearl but with an Elytra you fly to another island. Also, this would be too OP in OP games. So no, thanks.

Would just like what you say then you might as well use a enderpearl!

I am still against the idea.

And the fact that you said "you dont have to build as much" makes you sound like a guy who doesn't want to put in that extra effort to win a game of eggwars, or just in general.

Ok, this idea would be ok if it's in op mode and if it's very very very expensive.

But if it's expensive you could buy an enderpearl. It won't make any diffrence.
By the way if you fly to another island they see that your coming, and if you just enderpearl they don't.
Another thing that's a stupid thing about elytras is the high towers, they are ugly.
But that's kinda unnecessary but it's still a reason why I disagree.
