CubeCraft should implement a system where the maximum player count in games like SkyWars, Lucky Islands, and EggWars adjusts based on server population. Here's how it could work:

  • Fewer than 450 players online: Games cap at 8 players.
  • Between 450 and 750 players: Games require 12 players.
  • 750+ players: Full games of 16 players.
This dynamic adjustment would significantly reduce queue times

As a player who mostly plays from 11 pm to 3 am when there are around 300 players online, it takes ages to join a game. I would love to see this change implemented.

What would be the minimum playercount for a 16 player map? Assuming the minimum for 8 is 6, and the minimum for 16 is twice as much, 12, games would require the exact same proportion of players to start regardless of size. Having bigger games does not help queue times, in fact, it makes them take longer.

I also would not like minigames to get changed significantly in the way they play out because more or less players are online. It would also require a huge investment in accomodating 3 versions of each map for each gamemode, it would be a massive undertaking with no reward.
