Now, I am not the best person when it comes to explaining my thoughts and reasoning behind my choices or how I word things, but I hope you can see what I'm trying to get at here. This may not be a stellar suggestion, but imagine you were in my shoes. You don't know everything about the situation, but you do know I want peace of mind on a topic. Here goes...

I feel a little hesitant to upload a post or thread in some forums/subforums that don't have a formula for how to arrange your post. I know that not all places can have this, but thankfully some places do, such as reports and punishment appeals!

I could be the only person who thinks this way, but I'm sure that if I am the only person to speak up about it, there must be a thousand more who agree with me, but wont speak up about it.

I have noticed a lack of organization and post structure/examples in a few places around the forums, mainly staff feedback. This could be because you don't always need a structure for how to post things in some forums, but it would still be quite helpful if you included one, just so we know we aren't forgetting anything when we hover over that post button.

I am also concerned that some users might not be showing their thoughts on some threads/posts especially in the Staff Feedback category because they might be scared that they could be punished if they submit some unwanted criticism. Personally, I know that one person cannot change the whole staff team based on one upload, but I feel like there is always room for improvement. In fact, it is one of the rules I live by. Personally, I am also quite afraid that what I post may change the thoughts of me around the community. I worry sometimes that my criticism might not be what the players or staff are looking for. I feel like this could be fixed very easily by providing peace of mind that what you post in Staff Feedback (forums/subforum) wont negatively affect you in ways such as punishment or negative thoughts on you.

In a way, Staff Feedback should feel like a confession at a church. I think this in the way that you should know that what you share there is confidential. Thankfully, that forum is private to only the staff, and yourselves. However, I'm not entirely sure that it is safe to post things there. Like confession, you should be able to share almost anything there with the knowledge that people will in no way change their thoughts about you in a negative manner. This should be known as a place that you can share your thoughts on the staff team good or bad, and still know that it won't negatively affect you in the future. I personally know that this could be the difference between a lot of people speaking up about their problems, or staying silent about it.

I would write more, but I think you get the point now! Be sure to ask me any questions you have about this in the comments, I will try my best to answer them asap! Thank you for reading, and I hope you understand my concerns.

If anybody has any thoughts or suggestions on how this could be fixed, please leave them below! I am open to all kinds of feedback, good or bad! :D

Note: no, this is not supposed to be in the order of the rainbow... ^^^

I get your point and definitely agree with this thread. I'd like to hear what the staff team thinks about it.
In my opinion, your proposal is a very good way to address one of the community's biggest concerns.

I'm sure people are not talking about this because they're afraid of receiving a punishment, as you have have said above, so I have to thank you for talking about this important topic.

Erghm, I’m not completely sure what you’re suggesting to be fair.

The staff feedback subforum is only visible to the Admin Team, and literally anything that you post in there stays within the Admin Team. If a staff member is contacted due to your staff feedback, then they won’t share the username.

I'm saying in short that some players might be a little hesitant to actually submit their reports because they might not have the assurance that what they say will be confidential. What if the player might have a specific situation, if you tell the staff member about said situation, the player might feel uneasy. What I'm mainly suggesting is that you should add either a post structure for that forum, a message assuring players that what they say will not only stay confidential, but it will also not negatively affect them in the future. You could do one of these, or even better, both!

I hope this clears it up well!

Makes sense, I'll escalate this thread and see if we can add a thread :]

I have just created a poll for this post. Please vote above and if you can, please explain why you agree or disagree!
I want to know the reason for all of your responses so if you can, please explain why you answered the way you did, thanks!

I will also refrain from voting to remain neutral. Another reason why I am doing this is so the votes casted will be an accurate representation on how the community views my opinion on the matter!

Pro tip: don’t use colours (other than white/black) if you want to make a serious thread. Colours are distracting and makes it difficult to read
My opinion, colours made it so much easier to read because I can separate where to look at while reading it
Will take this into account when posting in the future! Thanks for the feedback! :D
You do which you prefer, I appreciate how you take player feedback :> 🍭

As I have stated before, I have already cleared up the confusion behind this here:
