Builds Feedback On Our BlockWars Map!

Hi everyone!

As you probably know the map submissions are currently closed and we are not able to submit our map. Today @_Signum and I decided to finish our map which we started building on a time ago. We’ll post some photos and a video of our map, if you have feedback on how we can improve our map, let us know!

We have made a map for the gamemode ‘Blockwars Bridges’ and don’t have a name for it yet. (If you have a suggestion, let us know! xD).

I’m not very good at giving constructive feedback on buildings, but I like your map! Good job!

The map itself is very detailed and beautiful! Very well done you two! :)

My only concern is the placement of the pits and the interior of the mansion. The pit is very easy to build up to and way too close to the bridge, and the non-straight ways to get to the pit looks impractical. The slime jump is a very creative design, though I am not sure how good it is for Blockwars Bridges.

Still, it's nicely done! Utterly impresssive work!

Very details indeed! However it is a little bit too wide and it is a little bit too easy to get to the goal right now, but I can’t wait to see improvements!

Nice map overall, I'd just like if there was something more on the outside. The space in front of the building is pretty empty. Maybe make some kind of path on the ground leading to the building or something.
Good work though I like it :D

It's more focused on looks rather than GamePlay, I believe it would just be a frustrating map to play.

Thanks for all your feedback, we’ve tried to improve our map with your feedback and will show what we’ve made thusfar:

Changelog:​

• We moved the pit 12 blocks backwards and added some water in front of the pit as an obstacle;​
• We added some details on the ground with a variation of blocks;​
• We changed the stairs at both sides to improve the gameplay;​
• We moved the slime jump to another room, so it has a better purpose. (Mine iron and jump faster to the top).​

That looks great! :D Like the changes a lot. One last thing I'd change;
That area looks kind of boring as it is the same type of block everywhere, not sure what blocks I'd add in, but probably just any sort of variation.
