Fishing rods don't act like bows, they pull you in not out.

Fishing rods are more op than people think ccraft people just dont know how to use them because they dont work on ccraft

I personally don't think they should be added simply because there are bows for a reason. Even if the fishing rods are different, it could change the gameplay in an unfavorable way or a favorable one. It varies, but in my opinion they should not be added, sorry.

I personally don't think they should be added simply because there are bows for a reason. Even if the fishing rods are different, it could change the gameplay in an unfavorable way or a favorable one. It varies, but in my opinion they should not be added, sorry.

Ok I play a lot of 1.9 pvp experimenting with different items. I used fishing rods for a while and fell in love with them. they prevent bow spamming as you can reel the target within range of your sword and prevent people from running away (which is rampant in 1.9 pvp) I think rods should be fixed and added to every pvp gamemode as they offer another strategy to deal with certain situations. Sadly rods dont work on cubecraft and they are bugged in minecraft itself being unreliable and useless in the offhand. Once these issues are fixed i think people will get new respect for rods.

Fishing rods should be a cheaper way to knock people off bridges, they have like a 50% chance of reeling someone in, so it is not as overpowered as a bow, and it has very limited range. They could sell for like 5 gold.

Didn't fishing rods die in 1.10? I read that you can't pull in players anymore on the mc wiki

I looked at this and it said that PvPでは他のプレイヤーを引っ張ることは出来ない。 Which directly translates to You can not pull other players in PVP so idk
