So i dont think anyone really wants to spend 10 mins chasing a guy around a arena who just keeps running or pearl just to get told its a draw even though you have done 100 times more damage to them, so what i am suggesting is that when the timer on a duel runs out the winner is decided on who has done the most damage to the other guy in the duel.

This would stop people being able to run and still get a draw off it and it will make it less frustrating having to duel on a server where half the people run and dont fight but still gives both sides equal rewards.

I like your idea, but I barely see people running, enderpealing etc.
But the idea makes sense.

I don't know if there are kits with many enderpearl and blocks. If so, then it would be beneficial to reduce the number of enderpearls/blocks.
Most of the arenas aren't big and I have sincerely never seen anyone running around for 5-10 minutes. As QuantumFear_ said, your idea makes sense and I can imagine how frustrating it could be. Try to find an option to kill the runner the next time you fight one. For now, I don't think this is really needed considering this isn't a big problem. Excellent idea, though.

that is a good suggestion. and i agree with it fully.
maybe in addition to this idea at the end of a duel whether it finish due to the timer ending or a player loses i think there should be a page showing the details of the duel. eg showing the amount of damage taken and hearts gained by each player, blocks walked, stikes taken and strikes making contact

Uhh... what if the other player is trying, kills the other player and lost because they did less damage. Unfair, I think this shouldnt be added as it would cause some problems
