I'd say apply the same system like SG.
Pre-lobby; Choose your voting Options wich get locked in when the game will start.
In-game; While waiting to be released you select your kit depending on the voted Gamemode

Well, it's been a week, it's still here, and an update has not been given about the situation, so I decided it's a good idea to bump it.
Well to be fair in the new skywars update you barely have enough time to both chose a kit and vote so They'd need to add more time anyways but with a voting lock
they have a voting lock on the projectiles

Mhm, this can be quite annoying as you choose your kit for that gamemode... Then they switch! +1
lol I used to do this :D but before I had emerald I had gold so I used to troll but now I don't do it
Dunno if you've realized it yet, but that's the whole point of making a suggestion; asking the staff team to implement something.
