The Dell has the same exact specs, but is about $100 cheaper.

Dell is known for making really good monitors.

desktop with core i7 (not built in graphics) and buy a graphics card from alienware. also get a 5tb hard drive and 24gb video ram, and there, you have you AWESOME gaming pc for less that 2k :p

Alienware doesn't sell graphics cards. And if they did, they'd probably charge more than what you would see at any store.

I'm playing on a tablet all the time. 40fps for the win. Would be stupid to use an ultra strong cpu to play minecraft.......... "Hey look I'm playing on 1500 fps on minecraft"

No, the Amplifier doesn't work with non-Alienware computers. It uses a proprietary connector that only recent Alienware systems have.

Perhaps you're thinking of the Razer Core that runs off of Thunderbolt 3? That's only really useful for USFF desktops and laptops - pointless for a custom-built desktop.
