Get rid of appeals

Appeals can help players who were banned for no reason. But, the truth is, most appeals are hackers who are lying just to get their accounts back. There have been several times where I encounter a really bad hacker, and after I report someone and I am told that they are banned, I sometimes go to appeals and I check to see if I'm the one who banned him. Then I see that they have already banned 7 times, and they have had 5 of their bans appealed. At least, appeals should be judged much, much, much less "mercifully"

Appeals allow sincere players have another chance, but also set apart to players who are there to "hack 'til they get banned".

I guess that is also true. So,we should still consider my second suggestion. Appeals should be judged much less mercifully, and players should not be able to appeal after they have appealed and been banned 2 or 3 times

We give them two chances. Once, though the ban is temporary, is to inform them that they have done something wrong, and the second one requires them to appeal in order to join the server again. If denied, they are denied access. :P

Yes, but people should not be able to appeal and then hack over and over again

That is since the new system yea. .-. Maybe before that it was also that they were banned several times :/

Please take into consideration that their account may have been compromised.
Breaking the rule once is understandable - that they may not have known the consequences so it's highly likely they'll get accepted.
Twice is not an excuse and I would say depending on what happened and what they say, the chances of acceptance is about 30-40%.

Then again, if you have 2 bans and several warnings/mute then the chances would most likely be below 5%.
Some people won't learn and some learn the hard way before truly regretting their decision and apologizing whole-heatedly.
We are there to judge those kind of people based on their actions and how they try to make up for it.

8 months ago you were banned because you didn't knew this server so you thought I can hack on this server, you were banned and 30 days later you played again. But suddenly you meet nice people you become friends you're making a forum account and you're happy. Now 8 months later you're banned for hacking but it wasn't you. You're account is compromised (I know you'll be banned before this could happen but it's just an example). Now you've got a perm ban (I think that's 1 year but I don't really know), you're asking a Helper or Moderator what to do. But you can't appeal because you came with the ridiculous idea to remove appeals.

I think I made my point.

Okay, but I already agreed that appeals are good. But we need to be a bit more careful with whose being appealed

What of they were false banned, and werent hacking? And they couldnt appeal.
This would make players frustrated because what if their friend was falsley banned, they wouldnt have a chance to play again, (of course the first ban is 1 month, so they wouldnt be able to play woth them for 1 month).

Of course if they WERE hacking, then they deserve it.
