"Go through bridge" bug - instant pass trough blocks when damaged

How often?
It's happening too often for me, like every 2-3 games. It just get triggered, no matter what, and it's frustrating to the point that I'm thinking about a pause from this server.

Describing the bug
It's very simple.
Build a bridge, classic 1xN.
Go over this bridge.
If someone will take you damage, like arrow, you will fall down, right through the bridge, into the void.

I'm using the 1.12.2 version, with OptiFine enabled.
I'm using the Canvas v128 Up.36 resource pack.
No other mods or modifications.
Using a 1080Ti and 7700k, with 2k screen, playing full screen. Dunno, maybe it matters ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What is going on and how to fix it?

Hi, since when did the issue started to occur to you?

Randomly, like for two weeks from today, always being more and more consistent.
The only thing happened in this days was a Windows update, asking for reboot 5 days ago.

Yes, ok, great, cool and stuff like this.
But how I can fix it, even temporarily? Switching versions of Minecraft or Java helps?
If no, I need to fix it not playing Minecraft and I'm not happy with solution like this :(

PS: marking as "solved" a problem that is not solved is not a great idea...

I also had this bug/glitch ,but after I restarted my game it was gone

There’s no way to fix it yourself. Our devs will have to fix it
Also I marked the problem as solved, as you’ve been given an answer and the solution has been given; you’ll have to wait for our developers to fix it.

Temp solution: I switched to 1.14.4: it seems not to have this problem. As always, with Optifine.
