Gold Sword Egg wars kit

It would be nice if we add a gold sword kit for 450 points and it has no sharpness and reduced durability and can kill only like 2 or 3 people

Now if this was added we might have chance to protect ourselves from getting rushed or we can use it to rush mid and be safer

Let me know wut u guys think

I like the idea, however I think classes like MoneyMan outmatches it. You're able to buy a stone sword with MoneyMan, and if you're quick enough, still have the grace period after respawning.

As long as it is not the gold pickaxe, I am fine with it, But the gold sword in general can only kill around that many :) Overall a decent idea.

Not a bad idea since we already have the pickaxe however I don't think it's going to be that effective in killing people with iron armour.

Sir, If you are smart enough, If someone is trying to trying to break your egg, Criticals, They will drop quick, And, In general killing, If you are generally good in PvP it isn't that difficult. But thank you for support on this idea :D although isn't mine ;)

True however I find it funner spamming them with my golden pickaxe and if they block themselves in then I have something to get to them and hit them. I've won games with a gold pickaxe against people in iron with bows and diamond swords/axes.

Seems too op, no point of this being in the game. You can't stop some good rushers with swords, they'll walk right past you. Get money bags and buy a wooden sword instead if you're that worried. The sword kit would support spawn protting.

Well that's what I do with the pickaxe kit because you can spam them with your fist which means they can't break the obby and you can mine there sandstone. Then if they kill you, you can go back spamming since you have the gold pickaxe.

Or run away, get diamonds, gear up, break the opponent's egg and fight him.

I don't think it would be that overpowered in 1.8? Currently you can use the pickaxe kit to deal almost the same damage or buy a wooden sword with 5 iron ingots you can obtain from the money bags kit and deal the same damage as a golden sword, it only takes like a couple of seconds to buy the sword.

Will not be effective to kill stacked players and can also be quite irritating at times like while breaking an egg. Also, a kit like this was recommended before and was rejected. It may be a decent idea but I still think having a sword when you spawn is a little too OP even with reduced durability.
