So i was looking on amazon and i found these monster headphones. (I have an android phone) I found the Monster dna on ear headphones. I wanted to know if these are good headphones and what some other good headphones are. Not necessarily gaming headphones. Any suggestions? And does anyone know about the monster dna?

Just over there
What kind of budget do you have? The more money you put in the better they will be. And over vs on ear, if you're planning on wearing them for longer periods of time go for over ears, they support better and can cancel out sound better but are usually a little heavier, I wouldn't go with beats, you're paying for the logo and now that apple have bought them they're gonna get a whole lot more expensive. I have a pair of V-Moda crossfade LP and I'd recommend them to anyone, another company worth looking at is senheiser, they make study headphones so you can expect them to be good quality :)

Yes I would want over the ear because I have glasses so ummmm on the ear are not the most comfortable type in the world.I don't really want on ear. The only on ear headphones I would get is the monster dna because I tried them on at kohls and were amazing! http://www.amazon.com/Monster-DNA-On-Ear-Headphones-Black/dp/B00BE4MYFA/ref=cm_cd_ql_qh_dp_t

They may sound good, but they sound terrible compared to headphones that are built purely to listen to sound.
Gaming headsets are designed for games like CoD where you need to be able to hear everything. For example, hearing other players footsteps is vital on a game like mw3 (and a good connection, plus a very lucky game with no deathstreaking noobs)

I am only looking for headphones to listen to pretty much. I already have a pair of &20 gaming headphones that are perfectly fine.
