Right now, there is no easy way to communicate with players that are not on the same server as you. Many people suggested friend chat, but that didn't seem to make it. This is why I am suggesting adding "Groups" to Cubecraft.
The way groups would work is similar to the factions plugin. You can create a group, or join a group.
Group Guidelines
1) Each Group name can only be up to 12 characters
2) Each Group Starts with a maximum amount of 10 players
3) The name of the group is in front of your rank when you talk in server chat. Example:
|Leader||MuffinElites||Gold|tiger101tiger
Upgrading Groups
Most groups will want to be bigger than 10 people, so they will have to upgrade their group. The way to upgrade your group is by spending vanity points. You can only upgrade your group by 5 players at a time, and your group must be full to upgrade it. It will cost 2000 vanity points per upgrade until you get a maximum of 50 players, then it goes up to 5000 vanity points per upgrade. Also, you can only have a maximum of 100 players.
Group Ranks
There are four different group ranks, and each of them can do different things. There are also limits on how many of that rank there can be.
1) Leader - Only 1 player can be a leader per group. Able to invite, promote to any rank, kick any rank, edit description, edit name, demote any rank, can chat, and can upgrade
2) CoLeader - maximum of 3. Able to invite, promote to officer, kick officers and members, edit description, edit name, demote officer, chat, upgrade
3) Officer - maximum of 10. Able to invite, kick members, chat
4) Member - only chat
Donor Perks
If any of these violate the EULA, they can be removed because they are not necessary. These perks will only work if the donor is Leader or CoLeader, and they do not stack on top of eachother
Iron - Colored group name
Lapiz - Colored group name, each upgrade is 10% off
Gold - Colored group name, each upgrade is 20% off
Diamond - Colored group name, each upgrade is 30% off
Emerald - Colored group name, each upgrade is 40% off
Obsidian - Colored group name, each upgrade is 50% off
Commands
/group create (name)
/group rename (name)
/group desc (description)
/group invite (name)
/group kick (name)
/group promote (name)
/group demote (name)
/group upgrade
/group donate (amount)
/group balance
/chat group
/chat server

I'm not sure how this would work because I just thought of it, but maybe Diamond, Emerald, and Obsidian can be in two groups at once? That way they aren't forced to choose between one or the other. The way they toggle chat is like this. Example: /chat MuffinElites, /chat Kittyowner, and /chat server ?

He is talking about implementing the 'group' system. Yet this 'group' system is very similiar to a party system.
Calling it a party is much more convenient than 'group'.
He isn't talking about parties. Parties and 'groups' are not similiar to each other. Parties are there so you easily play games with your friends, while groups are there to challenge players to create (for example) a group of players who are all very good at sw. Parties are temporary, groups are not.

He is asking about 'there is no easy way to communicate with players that are not on the same server as you', so party should do the trick. Yet i think the groups one is great.
Sorry for the miss-understanding.
