Ok time to introduce a new eggwars mode. This is loosely based off Fart's suggestion at the start.
Like my Inflation Mode suggestion, this involves the game changing as it goes on throughout. Basically, teams increasingly shrink.
Beginning of the game: This starts as a massive two team battle, ranging anywhere from 8 v 8 to 40 v 40 at the start. (Normal Mode Prices + Items, No Voting Options). The two team battle starts out like a normal eggwars game, with one exception - three layers of concrete as default egg protection. Mid will be absolutely loaded and massive as well to prevent grand scale mid camping. I'm talking perhaps 15 diamond gens and 4 emerald gens for the 40 v 40. However, don't expect it to last long...
Beginning-Middle: Hold on! At the 6 minute mark, everything gets cut in half. Meaning the 40 v 40 now becomes a 20 v 20 v 20 v 20, etc.
How the cut works: The cut will begin with a crack starting to form in the middle of the island. Each team inherits the same generator levels (averaged between the level of the current gens they have and applied appropriately) and a villager. Egg protection is applied by copying everything in a 7 x 7 square centered on the egg (so overdoing egg protection early won't do you any good) Once the crack cuts all the way through the island, the two segments will begin to drift away from where the island once stood. Once the two islands are 10 blocks apart, the teams are formerly split into two unique teams. The islands drift in a circle centered on mid and will drift until a quarter of the circle is left between that and the island split next to it. Once the drift is complete, another 6 minute timer starts for the next split. A total of 3 splits occur.
Middle: After the first split, mid also splits itself forming sub-mids to complement the new island positions. Using 40 v 40 as a baseline, what was 15 and 4 will now become 7 and 2 at the main mid with 4 and 1 at the submids.
Middle-End: The player islands split again now being a 10 v 10 v 10 v 10 v 10 v 10 v 10 v 10. More submids form with 2 diamond gens and 1 emerald gen, while at the current submids 2 diamond gens are cut off to form new sub-mids.
End: The player islands undergo a final split with there now being 16 islands of 5 (although as you'll see in a second this will never happen). The sub mids do one final split with only gold gens on them.
But What If An Egg Is Eliminated on an Island Before a Split? Good Question. The split island getting an egg is dependent on if the parent island had one - if it did the new island gets one if it didn't. Player splitting occurs the same way. Say for example it's a 12 v 12 v 12 v 12 (a parent to a 3 v 3 ending) and one team lost their egg and was depleted to 7 people. The team will still split normally, but will have an island with 3 people and an island with 4 people, both without an egg. A team of 3 will not be split (unless it's a 2 v 2 or solo map), but their original island will stay with the same generator depletion that normally occurs. So basically, the team of 3 will play at a disadvantage due to isolation and a much bigger island.
Can You Win Before the Final Split? Yes. If your team can eliminate everyone else before the teams get split, you will win with full winning credit.
And now for feedback time......
