How can I fix my ping on CubeCraft

Hey guy's I have a problem, whenever I played cubecraft I get tons of ping and don't know why. This only happens on this server. If anyone has a solution on how to get better ping on cubecraft please let me know. I use Java btw/

Is this Bedrock or Java? Bedrock has been having major lag issues the last couple days. This is on their end not yours usually.

Java has some lag issues as well. It’s because there are quite a lot of players at the moment.

I would suggest first looking if you experience any other connection drops on your network.

• Try a basic website
• Download (and upload) a small file (not to a cloud on the same network)

If these are slow as well, restart the router and/or contact your internet provider.
I you're familiar with cmd (on windows) try to execute the following command

• ping play.cubecraft.net -n 10

And see if your ping is the same, if not update Java.
This can be done via control panel.
If you're not using windows but would like to the above, just say so and I'll make a small guide.
If you don't feel safe doing this with your pc, I suggest you read this page.

If you’re having worse lag than usual this is probably on cubecraft a end. @Fesa gave a good explanation of what to test.

When the server is crowded, there can be lag. If you are connecting to the server from a remote country, that might be the problem too.

You could also download a mod like labymod or badlion cient. They provide better fps.

Yeah, FPS is also a big thing in Minecraft, you always could create a tread about it.

There's something that always goes with you, your ping and your identity. Is possible that with the time it going improve a bit more, but probably you will always play with it.

I also have some problems with my internet when I play Cubecraft and sometimes I can't play Minecraft at all because our internet gets overloaded. Try not to have as many devices sitting on the internet as you play. It can often lead to laggy internet. Try that :P
