Coding How to Install Mods on a Mac?

Hello, I am looking for someone who knows how to install mods on a mac. If you do, the mod I would like to install is some sort of minimap. Thanks! :)

Yes, but all of the ones I have watched do not work. At one point it had made me delete an important file from MC and I had to reinstall. :/

as a mac user, its not that different from windows. just create a folder called mods in your MC folder, download and run forge(its a jar file)(this will install a profile in MC called Forge) and download the mod in question.Then just drag it and drop it in the folder. Make sure the mod version is compatible with your forge version and some mods don't work well with macs (shaders come to mind, they are so hard to run), minimap should work as i use one. just remember to keep radar off as Radar is banned in CCG.

radar is not banned I haven't heard anything about radars and minimaps being banned.

Minimaps itself isn't banned. Its Just The Radar Function(the ability to see players on the minimap) that is banned as it makes games unfair. (example, if you were playing skywars and you were hiding and the other person had radar, the other person could find you and kill you without you knowing.)

one of the most popular minimaps without radar function is rei's minimap, you could use that. all it does is show a map on the top corners of the screen.

wait rei got updated? the only minimap i could find for 1.7.10 is Zans(My Current)

well on cubecraft you can run any of the 1.7 updates, so rei's minimap is still on 1.7.4 version but i think that would still run on ccg
