Hypixel probably won't die from staying 1.8 bc there are a large enough number of players who hate 1.9 beyond belief to keep them going.I just wanted to ask this, if hypixel were to actually die out from not updating, and all the sudden update, what would happen to cube? We should think about this too.
There are enough bugs that I know about.Yh, like every player appreciates bugs they didn't know about being fixed.
None of those were mentioned in the 1.12.1 or 1.12.2 changelogs. There are enough bugs that I know about.
* Players invisible when riding horses or boats.
* Accidentially eating from the offhand.
* Shield glitching making you unable to hit.
* Not being able to pick up items that stack in your offhand.
* Getting kicked from games to the Loading Terrain screen.
And probably a lot more that I forgot but are really annoying when they happen. Honestly, I do appreciate bugs that I don't know about yet getting fixed, because it reduces the chances of running into bugs later. Updating takes me 4 extra clicks when starting the game, really not an issue.
yes but they are bugs that are currently here and will be fixed when cubecraft updates to 1.12None of those were mentioned in the 1.12.1 or 1.12.2 changelogs.
Ok, but all the bugs mentioned in the 1.12.1 and 1.12.2 changelogs are minor.yes but they are bugs that are currently here and will be fixed when cubecraft updates to 1.12
What would you rather have?Ok, but all the bugs mentioned in the 1.12.1 and 1.12.2 changelogs are minor.
There will always be bugs no matter what version. What would you rather have?
A version of a game with more, potentially gamebreaking, bugs?
Or a version of a game with less, community-reported (also including game-breaking), bugs?
I'd rather settle for a version that's way more trustworthy than another one.
Yes, but up-to-date versions almost always have less major bugs. I really don't see why you're so against it.There will always be bugs no matter what version.
So players on 1.12 and 1.12.1 don't have to update if they don't want to.Yes, but up-to-date versions almost always have less major bugs. I really don't see why you're so against it.
So players on 1.12 and 1.12.1 don't have to update if they don't want to.
To me it just seems he's against it for the sake of being against it and is just looking for the most remote excuse ever to call it "bad".I really don't see why you're so against it.
So therefore we shouldn't update? There will always be bugs no matter what version.
Older Versions -> No official support -> No bugfixingThere will always be bugs no matter what version.
we shouldn't have hospitals because there will always be sick people.
1.13 is coming SoonTMNone of those were mentioned in the 1.12.1 or 1.12.2 changelogs.
No, I'm saying players on 1.12 and 1.12.1 might not want to update, so we should just let them play whatever 1.12.x version they want.To me it just seems he's against it for the sake of being against it and is just looking for the most remote excuse ever to call it "bad".
Like what @Gainfullterror , I think everyone uses the latest version of anything since theres seriously no reason not to.No, I'm saying players on 1.12 and 1.12.1 might not want to update, so we should just let them play whatever 1.12.x version they want.

too bad for them. They're an insignificant amount anyway.players on 1.12 and 1.12.1 might not want to update
