Are you on mobile? Crafting has always been wonky on mobile, but I haven't noticed anything too weird recently. To reports bugs on Bedrock, you can go to Bedrock Bug Reports.

Are you crafting with the recipe book? Sometimes it doesn't work.
Maybe it works if you craft it yourself (without the recipe book)

Things I noticed after BedWars released:
- Solo maps are the same as duos maps (without the new duos maps, idk why)
- BedWars logo in the lobby reacts to the player, it turns towards the direction you're facing and animates itself disappearing when you go far from it
