Java I Miss Old Java Server

Hello!

I have a criticism about cubecraft!

The server's player count has been dropping more and more lately and there are several reasons for that.

some of the reasons:

-cubecraft authorized team are currently concentrating on bedrock servers as there are more active players on bedrock servers and minecraft bedrock version is developed more

-there hasn't been a major update to java for a while (except for events and updates)

-A lot of bug fixes are made to the change log channel, but if you pay attention, almost all of them have at least 1 "java", which means that the authorities now only fix bugs in java.

-Now players are quitting cubecraft because you removed the games people play, for example "UHC, Assasions, Speed EggWars" as UCH 1.9 was only in cubecraft and the player count was fine, but no updates were brought and the UHC game was completely removed because the player count decreased. Just like UHC, the game modes of assasions and eggwars were left to their fate.

-I shared a suggestion a few months ago, you may remember, it was called "More Game Modes". This proposal was rejected on Sunday last week and the reason for the rejection was that they did not want to divide the player base in two, but if the game modes I mentioned were brought back, you can be sure that this would be beneficial for the cubecraft server, for example, many players He left the game because speed eggwars was removed. Think about it, speed eggwars is being added again, I'm sure all old players who hear this can return to the game again.

-Besides these reasons, cubecraft admins should remember that they have java servers and they need to work a little harder in java. There were many players who left the server because there was no update in cubecraft, because people are tired of seeing the same things all the time.

Spoiler: As a solution

I will share my own opinion completely; I think cubecraft should change the main lobby decision because they can't squeeze too many NPCs into the main lobby, instead it would be better for the games to have separate lobby (just like before). I assume that the games that are not in the featured games will be added back, and besides all these, maybe they can add many different mini-games (arcade games). If this happens, players won't be counting the days to play their favorite games, or they won't be disappointed because they can't find their favorite game when they enter the server.

(the above is just my opinion, please write below what you want to add, maybe this time we can get the staff's attention and correct the java server)

I don't get what you mean by saying they only fix bugs in Java now, isn't that good? (They do fix bugs for both servers tho)

i doubt fixing bugs on java makes java die tbh xD

I remember being in UHC for 3 hours once and not a single other person joining my game... i wouldn't call that "fine"

I'm sure all old players who hear this can return to the game again.

they got removed because there were no players anymore, the "old players" aren't just gonna spawn out of nowhere if they didn't exist in the first place

it would be better for the games to have separate lobby (just like before)

how will that get more players? it'll just make everything seem even more empty

the thing is right now they need to create a different place to put any NPC in the lobby and once they did that one place on the right side was empty and it broke the symmetry if the games have separate lobbies there will be more room and many old game will come back and and bringing old games back will bring old players back

I don’t think that has such a big impact on the playercount. Only people in specific countries and at a specific age are doing those rn

After there is no innovation, people start to repeat the same thing after a while and that is boring. Imagine that you only played on 1 map for 10 consecutive games. After this 4th game, it will start to get boring for you.

old games will come back and it will be a good ad Imagine you quit cubecraft and suddenly you think that there is a news/advertisement like "cubecraft is going back, they brought back many old games", it will make you happy and you will be dying to join and have a look

If I compare Cubecraft to bigger servers, the first thing I notice is that there isn't a lot of competition in cube. Because there aren't a lot of players online and there are no updates, people are starting to find it boring. If you keep playing the same gamemodes over and over again whilst playing against the same players you'll get bored eventually, which is happening now.

I also think that there should be more youtubers promoting Cubecraft. I would say growing youtubers are the best option. They have new and active viewers, aren't as expensive as creators with big platforms and therefore there could be more small creators promoting the server. Plus more youtubers means more diverse viewers, it's more convincing and different sides of the community can be reached.

Java servers have been in service since 2013, but the number of players is decreasing day by day. The reason we want them to do their best is because we do not want them to be left to their fate like UHC, Speed Eggwars, Assasions, because if it goes like this, there will be no players on the server and cubecraft will stop serving in java, this is something I do not want at all.
