No. Alien Ware is not some of the best laptops out there. Yes, they look gorgeous, yes, they are very, very expensive, but no. You can buy way better laptops with the same amount of money. AW is overpriced, and I've heard they overheat.

As you can see, the hardware doesn't vary that much. Your call though, it's about personal preferences.
You can also have a Alienware laptop (18) for $4,499 with SLI GPU's. However I wouldn't recommend this, since there's not alot of room for cooling in a laptop.

well a desktop pc is WAYYY cheaper, by far.
In a laptop they have to spend a lot of time and effort to remake the hardware to fit in a laptop and they would overheat in just a couple of hours.
a desktop pc is the best option cheaper and better performance altogether

for best, build your desktop. cheaper, and you get what you want. say I wanted these (fake) cpu and gpu, the duck77k-11 and a rabbit234p-7a. odds are, you aren't going to find a desktop or laptop with those specs. by building, you save and get what you want. hope this helps.
