Bedrock Improve the anti cheat

Hi,

Today I saw a hacker. He was literally flying, taking no knockback at all and using some killaura hacks with crazy reach. His name was "SentinelEZ5718" and I reported him using /sr. 10 minutes later I got a message that said he'd logged off. My report was then closed, but a few games later I encountered him again, killing the entire lobby and getting around 20 kills. Some guy told him that he'd been reported too, but he just responded, "Then I'll just bypass the ban in around 5 minutes with a new account and VPN". How are cheaters able to bypass with such blatant cheats?

I know it's hard to develop a decent anti-cheat on bedrock, but even Hive has a better anti-cheat than Cubecraft. They have more hackers because the server is more popular, but on Hive you can't play for hours without getting banned and the anti cheat kicks fast speeds and basically every fly. I really hope that Cubecraft can improve the anti-cheat in the future. Please also prevent people from bypassing bans by simply using another account.

If you can take a video and make it into a watchable link you can report them on the forums. I really think cubecraft should get a good anticheat (there’s literally hundreds of free better anticheats out there, and they should block bypassers and actually stop vpns

I looked it up on youtube. It seems like you can just create a new microsoft account to bypass the ban. Even anti vpns can be bypassed by restarting your router I heard.

Or maybe you report him out of all the options available. You should only report him for the thing he used. And after reporting you should make his cheating more visible so he gets banned.

They were blatantly cheating. You can't fly with a lag. And what's the point of taking 20 minutes to report them if they can get around the ban in less than 5? At least Hive is catching things and updating their anti cheat. Cubecraft's anti cheat also gives a lot of false bans.

The truth is that these hack clients are far more advanced than the current sentinel and it would take so much development time to constantly update it. IMO these blatant hackers do get caught and banned in the end, or they get bored and leave as it was just some fun for them. They don't generally stay too long as they need reaction to their cheats to feel the sense of achievement. What is more important however is to ban the cheaters amongst us, the popular people, the well known ones, the lobby 1 regulars and the only way to do this is to appoint more mods who know the game, understand the difference between lagg and hacks for example, and also who have experience in exactly what cheats exist and how they look In a normal game and can demonstrate a consistent approach to the rules. There are some good Mods already, we simply need more. Btw this isn't a sales pitch, just my view on the only solution to make things better and grow playing numbers.

A very big issue is that because cubecraft allows both drag clicking and double clicking, auto clickers and macro users are very rarely banned because they can say they drag and or double click then voila unbanned

Yep, this is also a major issue but generally macro or autos can be beaten in games in other ways, as most lack game sense

Cubecraft is a large server and there will sadly always be a way to bypass/circumvent bans or go undetected by anticheat measures implemented. This all just signals to me that there needs to be a stronger presence from members to actively record or report cheaters. Recorded footage is absolutely final - it proves hacking and provides evidence that can then be taken further by moderation.

The argument that recording footage is too difficult is sadly futile. Evidence is NEEDED to prove someone is cheating to avoid defaming their character. This is unfortunately the best way.

I agree with this completely and it is a massive issue. I do feel drag does allow people to mask their cheats and use it as an out. I feel like maybe drag should be made bannable to circumvent this issue.

Drag clicking/double clicking definitely can create false bans. However I'm of the mentality that if you use these methods and are banned, you can always appeal and will be unbanned if you did nothing to violate the rules.

Think you've missed the point there......the point is people can use macro and auto and get banned, then simply say I'm a drag clicker and get unbanned

yes you're correct, i thought they just meant drag clicking can get you banned, i didn't realize it was about masking, I'll alter my original post. I completely agree that this happens a lot, and i think probably suggests that maybe drag clicking should just be made bannable to avoid this happening?
