I don't see the problem with longer fights at all. Who cares? What difference does it make? In a game that takes half an hour, I only PvP for about eight minutes of the game. In an hour-long game, it's more like twenty minutes. PvP time increases proportionally as the game goes on. My point is, if you don't enjoy long fights, don't play eggwars. I, for one, enjoy longer games. I love the rare two-hour long game (As long as you don't camp it will end fast, and I love fighting campers.). Anyways, can someone explain to me? What's wrong with a fight that's two minutes long? Healing items are meant to make fights longer. Increasing the price will only make people camp on their islands to get the same amounts of gapples.

Gapples are only a problem on OP. On normal, they're fine. I don't care about statistics and what should happen, I care about experience and what does happen. From my experience, there is no issue. On OP, yes they make fights a little longer, but it's not a big issue. I've never had a single encounter that lasted longer than five minutes tops.

So yeah. What's the issue? Why are long fights a problem? When you play eggwars, you need to be ready for a long game. If you want shorter games and fights, play speed eggwars. Some of us like longer fights.

The problem is people keep chuggin gapples, making it really annoying. There is nothing wrong of healing items, the only problem is that they are too cheap, Devs need to make them more expensive. That's all I want

There is no long fights, its just 3-5 min.
What's the issue?
Too many gapples, and really cheap.

I think cubecraft should leave It like this, there is no major issue about this.

I never really thought to bring this up, even though it tends to happen very frequently. What if you chasing a gapple chugger. That means that you cant lure them to the edge in order to knock them off. So how do you kill those guys? I just played a game of eggwars on the teaparty map and failed 5 times in a row at killing them.

Pretty sure this eliminates everyones main argument to not nerf the golden apple.

Then what's the issue? Long fights aren't a problem. Sure, it's annoying, but you can deal with it. If it's just an annoyance, not a major issue (which it isn't), so why does it require attention from the devs? I don't see any imbalance other than they can make fights longer. If that's not your issue, then what is? "It's too cheap" is not valid unless the price causes some kind of balance issue. What issue does the price cause? In OP it makes fights a little longer, in normal it's fine. In hardcore it's fine. What's the issue? I'm still wondering...

Let them run. You don't HAVE to finish everyone you meet...

I don't get it. That's a pricey investment that will be lost if you die once.Getting that many gapples requires camping and/or midcamping, so I don't see the issue. Also, if someone has basic combat skills they can still kill you. Gapples have never saved anyone if you just sit there chugging them. Your armour will break and you will die.

Break their armour.
The problem with limited gapples = fights will be based on gapples.
If gapples are assumed to be "cheap", both players will have enough gapples = fights will be based on armour.
Fights based on armour is better because armour damage = damage taken, so the more damage you deal to your opponent the quicker you'll kill them.
If Gapples are more expensive and limited, the player with the most gapples will win, its as simple as that.

The fights are like you said based on armour to kill them, but people always have backups, so they can keep chuggin gapples, the other option is knock them off either with bow, or combo him.

Only about 1/10 people I fight have a spare set of armour on them. I've encountered people who have extra sets at their base in a chest, but not on them in a fight.

Also, if anyone can buy huge amounts of gapples, who cares? You both can have stacks, so it's fair.

Forgot to mention, you're on OP. That means that golden apples are five times cheaper than on the mode that doesn't need a price increase. On OP, I wouldn't mind an increase. I don't want one, but I'm fine if there is a price increase. I don't want a price increase on normal, however.

I think it's no problem because you don't have to make him dead, you can also punch him off or play it smart. I almost never kill someone if they have full iron with a stack of golden apples, just play it smart and there won't be any problems ;)

if you really wanna play with less golden apples go play hardcore mode or speed eggwars. butt dont ruin the normal version
That's the problem, people don't like hardcode so they want golden apples more expensive, especially in OP.

Here
I like a long fight, makes pvp more skilled bc you get to practice your skills. It also brings other skills into play such as more armour or weapons. There are also voting choices that help counter grappling, I love half health. I’ve therefore got no problems with the price of apples.

Having more armor or weapons is not a skill. I like long fights to, just not ones that take 3 minutes, thats long enough for someones teammate to come and save them. Not everyone can vote, so chugging is still a problem.

Also, bump.

That's why team coordination is required. I rarely enter a fight alone, and when I do, I make sure I have better gear. You if it's long enough for their teammate to come help, it's long enough for yours to help too.

Well if Im correct, you play with friends all the time and dont get random teammates. Everyone else for the most part gets random teammates who pretty much never listen to you so you cant always rely on them.

The same can be said about the ones you're fighting against though...Sorry to be somewhat the devils advocate here in your case.
