This is a problem in both versions, especially 1.9. Everyone eats way too many golden apples per fight, and they just last forever. The only way to kill them is by breaking their armor, but they might have 5 sets of leather. And even if they dont, it much harder to break armor early game than late game. So I think we should make golden apples 5 gold in OP, 10 gold in normal, and just leave it as it is in in hardcore since its not as big of a problem there.

EDIT: Im changing the suggested pricing of golden apples a little bit.

EDIT 2: How in the world is this a half and half issue lol.

Hardcore needs to stay 8-10 for the integrity of the game. Either that or make them like a mushroom stew that heals say 6 hearts. Agree with the rest

NOO, in 1.8 with half health you just need some golden apples or you need to camp the hole game otherwise you lose from everyone

So we should let 1.8 half health influence the rest of the server which is mainly 1.9?
yes 1.8 is a super big part of cubecraft.. and if 1.9 is bigger thats probebly because the NON-pvp games. also the most people on the forums only want to be staff and to get staff you probebly need to play 1.9+

I agree. chugging gapples is a big problems in both versions of cubecraft; however, increasing the price of the gapples will not solve this problem for example, look at the punch bow. The best way to deal with these kind of people and to shorten the time of the fight is to use TNT to break armor fast, knocking him into the void, or to 2v1.

Let's take the amount of main lobbys as a means of measuring the percentage of cubecraft that is 1.8 and 1.9 using the Imgur links as evidence.
1.9 Network has 35 main lobbys.
1.8 Network has 10 main lobbys.

35+10= 45 main lobbys in total.

35 / 45 x 100= 77.7% 1.9
10 / 45 x 100= 22.2% 1.8

I consider something a "super big part" of something if it has at least a bigger chunk of the percentage than the average of all factors. (which in this case is 50%).
So in my eyes, 1.8 is not a super big part of Cubecraft.

Moving on:

The "non-pvp games" only has 2 lobbies. Compare that to the amount of lobbys Skywars or Eggwars has.
So, 1.9 is not bigger because of the non-pvp games.

Hard to get numbers for this one, so I can't really say much about this except most active members aren't here solely because they want staff.

and to get staff you probebly need to play 1.9+
1. @telegamer Rarely plays 1.9 as far as I know.
2. Even if this were true (which it probably isn't), it wouldn't influence a lot. Active forum members are a very small piece of the entire playerbase of Cubecraft.

Also why the heck did I waste my time on this.

Hes not talking about 1.8 as a whole, hes talking about 1.8 eggwars on half health. And I agree we shouldn't let half health influence everything else.

I agree that it is annoying (especially in op) whenever someone gets a ton of notch apples an you can't even kill them

I disagree, people do chug them, but that is just too expensive!

Op should be 3 gold for 1 golden apple
Normal should be 5-7 gold for 1 golden apple
and hardcore should be 9-11 gold for 1 golden apple

that would be more balanced and tbh, 25 gold is way too much. Even though its hardcore, I still think its too much
