Hello CubeCrafters!
So it's been a few weeks since we released the last of the island games, Archer Assault. We have been listening to your feedback and added and changed features of the games for your enjoyment. We are updating all 3 games at once so you get 3 updates for the price of 1. Whats been added? Well I'm glad you asked.

TNT Trouble
TNT Trouble has the most changes, adding features and improved balancing to enhance your gameplay experience and provide more strategy to the game.
Shop
Shops have been added to the game. The shop is accessed through a villager on your own team. There is a villager located next to each tower. The shops have been broken down into two areas, a player shop and a tower shop.

Shop.jpg

New Shop.

Player Shop
In the player shop you can purchase a wide range of items, including Blocks, Weapons and Armour. These items will be available for all play styles and can help players attack the other team or defend there own teams tower.

Tower Shop
The tower shop will allow players to buy defence buffs for each tower. When active a negative potion effect will be applied any player on the opposite team when entering the area of effect around the tower.
Defence Buffs
  • Slowness
  • Weakness
  • Mining Fatigue
  • Poison

Defence buffs can also be stacked meaning multiple defence buffs can be active on a tower at any time. If a defence buff is already active, players can still purchase more time allowing the defence buff to be active for longer. Active buffs can be seen above the villagers head next to the tower.

Currency
The currency used for all the items in the game is gunpowder. Each player will start the game with 25 gunpowder. Extra gunpowder can be obtained by killing other players. Killing any player will gain you 7 gunpowder and killing an enemy carrying TNT will gain you 12 gunpowder. If TNT explodes 6 gunpowder will also be dropped in the area available for all players to collect. If you die you will keep your gunpowder but lose any equipment you may have already purchased or crafted.

Creeper Farms
Each map now has creeper farms which regularly spawn creepers. When creepers are killed or explode they will drop between 5-8 gunpowder.

Archer Assault
Archer Assault is one of our fast paced games that is intense from start to finish. We have added feature that will balance the game and increase competitiveness with the new kill-streaks feature.
Breakable Objects
Fences, gates and glass panes are now breakable, allowing players to open up access points around maps. Block breaking has now been changed similar to the block breaking seen in paintball in arcade.

Blocks Being Broken by Arrows.

Kits
A few changes have been made to the kits that will improve the balancing of the game. The Tank kits shotgun bow has had the amount of arrows fired reduced from 7 to 5. The Offensive kit now has reduced knock-back for the arrows that have been fired. If there is a player on your own team who is using the offensive kit and has activated their invisibility ability, that player will now glow allowing you to see invisible players on your own team.

Invisible Players Glowing.

Kill-Streaks
Kill-streaks have now been added to each game and at the end of the game, a leaderboard will show the players who got the highest kill-streaks and the top 3 players will be rewarded with points and XP
  • 1st gets 5 points and 50XP
  • 2nd gets 3 points and 30 XP
  • 3rd gets 1 point and 10 XP
New Maps
Shaolin
Everyone is Kung Fu shooting... PEW, PEW.

  • Blocks now decay when shot requiring 2 or 3 arrow hits total to destroy a block
  • Wooden fences, wooden gates and glass panes can be destroyed when an arrow hits them
  • Tank kit, the bow now fires 5 arrows instead of 7
  • Offensive kit, knock back from arrows have been halved
