Java inventory/hotbar layout

ok im curious what people's inventory/hotbar layout is like, along with what hotkeys you use, if you use them. thanks

the 3rd and 9th slots i use for utility items, so it could be alot of things, not just shields and blocks. other items ill sometimes have in that slot will include power bow, tnt, obby, pearls, and a compass. there might be a few others but those are the main ones

i have a razer deathadder, which means 2 keys on the side

1st slot - 1, default
2nd slot - dont use hotkey
3rd slot - dont use hotkey
4th slot - q
5th slot - x
6th slot - c
7th slot - side mouse button #1
8th slot - b
9th slot - mouse button #2

Lol I play on console so I can’t give a right answer tho my inventory is set up like this :
1st slot : sword
2nd slot: blocks
3rd slot: pickaxe
4th slot: food
And then I have last slot with golden apples and stuff and the slot before last with a bow
(I play eggwars or skywars that’s why I like to have it this way )

1st slot: either pickaxe or golden apples if i have them
2nd slot: always sword
3rd slot: always blocks
4th/5th slot: either bow pickaxe or blocks
6th+7th+8th+9th: either nothing, blocks, extra set or utems like ender pearls
offhand: golden carrots

For egg wars i always have:

First slot: sword
Second slot: Bow/pickaxe (if had now bow)
Third slot: pickaxe/golden apples (if had no bow)
fourth slot: Enchanted golden apples/ golden apples/ steak (if had no enchanted golden apples or a bow)
Fifth slot: Golden apples/steak (if had no enchanted golden apples)
sixth slot: steak (If had a full setup)
seventh slot: Empty mostly/pearl (if provided with enough time)
8th: TNT
9th: Glass/obsidian/hayable as bridging blocks (Depending how rich )

I do it when the game lasts for so long its effective so u dont get tnt cannoned/fireballed

Nah fr it’s really cool just that it was a new thing I heard XD

I play egg:
1 - Sword
2 - Bow but only if game is longer than 15-20 mins. Otherwise, I keep a helmet or compass in this slot.
3 - Steak
4 - Gapples
5 - Pickaxe
6, 7, 8 - Blocks
9 - Arrows, TNT, Compass, Helmet, or Pearl

This layout changes when games get stretched out, and it's not the most efficient, but it feels best for me :)

Oh god people are gonna hate me for this I use the buttons on the side of my mouse as my buttons for 1 9 and use my scroll wheel so I have my sword/axe if its 1.16 its a axe bc swords are basicly useless then theres my bow after axe and then elytra then fire works then waterbucket then then the rest are food and junk and my last slot is my pickaxe I used my survival world hot bar for an example its the same with servers but bit diffrent but im done for now

(2)-2-Blocks (3)-3-Blocks
(4)-4-Bow
(5)-mouse button-Golden Apples
(6)-mouse button-Food/ Ender pearls
(7)-V-Water/ Ender Pearls
(8)-F-Fire-fns -Fire Aspect sword
(9)-R-Rood- Snow balls- Eggs

1) Air (diamonds when I'm collecting them/obsidian when I build my egg defence)
2) Sword
3) Pickaxe (or bow if I have it)
4) Blocks (or pickaxe if I have bow)
5) Blocks
6) TNT for bombing eggs
7) Gold
8) Iron
9) Food
