Another small, yet important thing to add.
The current player visibility system is great, but there's one minor(?) flaw. If you have the players disabled in your settings, you can still hear them punching to their hearts' content. Most of the time, I go off-screen for a few minutes and then my ears get bombarded by punching fests from people that aren't even rendered in. If these sounds could somehow not be played to players IF the sound is coming from an invisible player, that'd make my life 1000x better.
A small detail that could be added, is also to disable all gadget/cubelet firework sounds if they're from a player that you don't have rendered. Those sounds also drive me nuts sometimes.
You might go and say "Well you could just go and turn player sounds off.", but do you really want that to be the only option? After all, I'd have to re-enable it once I go into a game, and that's often forgotten. It'd be an inconvenience if anything.
