I think that iron should be removed from capture the flag. I think this because of 3 main reasons.
Reason 1: It takes a while to get it, and in that time the team you’re playing on is down a player, and if the whole team is busy and someone is trying to capture your flag then you might not want to stop them because you’re too busy getting iron, you’d think stopping the enemy from capturing your flag in a game called “capture the flag” would be your main priority, but for a lot of people it isn’t.
Reason 2: You’re not invincible, even if you have full iron there’s still a good chance that you’re not the best player in the match, and even if you are, there’s still a chance that you’ll either get overwhelmed by multiple players, get knocked off the map, or even defeated by a better player, and when a lot of people die, instead of getting back to the fight they go and try to remake their amour, even though it already failed to stop them from dying.
Reason 3: If multiple people on a team get iron, it’s over, the only way to defeat them is either your team is extremely good, or you get iron yourself, and usually it’s the second option, so instead of fighting, the game becomes an arms race to see who can get the best gear. 1
