It All Falls Down... (Status on my life, my YT channel, and almost getting perma-banned)

Just to break it down, I am not going mentally well... (Not an ultra sensitive topic atleast)

As of now, my month of school break is over since 3 weeks ago and you know that means? It's unnecessary pain and suffering all over again :DDDD

I am currently attempting to balance work on school and Youtube, but sometimes ended up procrastinating school works to craft a good effort video. I have to make videos that took 2-4 weeks to make a long form video. In the weekdays I will give 1-3 hours of editing and recording, and a whole 8 hour by the weekends.

The 2nd video went very well since the video is strategy based than the 3rd one which it isn't. So I challenged myself to make a 6 minute video to combine between the two to create another funny moments video with TNT! I expect that Youtube will give me a large audience. And it did! but it went down hill so bad, worse even.

A video by VidIQ, advices that people should share videos to small communities outside Youtube like what I did in Cubecraft. They said that the algorithm can pick a video for the user to match what they like, and sharing the video will make a good amount of views on publish.

After doing that advice, Youtube did gave me 100 views in a quick minute after posting. I suspsect here in Cubecraft Fourms and Discord, these are the ones made the video popular quickly. Our community might be the reason why my video got so popular.

January 28, 2025, just 2 days after the 4th video release, got back from school, I got a warning and a post removal by a Moderator due to inappropriate messages. I was confused at first, I talked to the moderator who warned me why. It's because of my video containing an inappropriate build.

I had mixed feelings knowing this. Half of my mind said "fair enough," but the other mind is very disappointed. Since I poured all effort into that video and just got thrown out of the window over a 10 second clip. I won't try to advertise the video again in both the fourms and the Discord server because it could get me almost banned. After a few days, the viewer graph is getting flat. It was so over.

I know Cubecraft is trying to be protective and family-friendly, I am aware of that. But, we have to draw the line there. Moderators should focus on high density problems that affect the actual gameplay experience such as hackers. In that video, I do not want to make something hateful or hurtful to any players, I just want to have fun like others do, including the viewers.

I have already have two false bans by Sentinel Anti Cheat because of my bad internet and their servers being too far. Since all of my bad deeds they thought I was doing, I am on a high risk in getting permanentally banned on Cubecraft.

Anyways, I tried to take a break after these, and made a video that isn't about Cubecraft, which is about weird Minecraft Bedrock Glitch Moments! It went horrible.

This might be my almost the tipping point, whether I should keep doing Youtube or quit with gaming completely altogether for education.

I want to make some income for myself and if more, then my family. They will call me a failure if I did invest on something very hard and just getting no value at all.

As of now, I've learned my mistakes so far, I might still do more Minecraft related stuff in Youtube. And there will be another absolutely unique Cubecraft video that might knock your socks off! Which I made a really complicated program for the next new video (yeah im a computer major, no wonder why im insane).

Text too long? I knew one word to summarize this: pain.

Please give me reasons why I should keep going or some encouragement. Thank you anyways for reading this wall of text. I just ditched writting essays just for this lol

Hey!

It's extremely unfortunate to hear what you are currently going through, and there is not a single person who deserves it.

I can imagine it could be demotivating to have your post removed, and receiving a warning for it, however keep in mind, a warning isn't an extreme harsh punishment, it's more of like a headsup, as in be careful with sharing this, as it contains inappropriate content/language.

As being active on YouTube myself, I can say it could be demotivating to see views going down, but you know, as long as you enjoy what you are doing, keep doing that, and who knows at one day you'll pass!

Regarding the false bans from sentinel due to issues between your ISP and CubeCraft, these bans can always be appealed here and the Moderation/Sentinel team will carefully look into your specific situation.

About going back to studying, and making your parents proud, I feel like that when ever your parents see you happy, that should be the main goal, and currently, as I read that here, that is not the case. If you would love to go back to school, study some more, extend your knowledges, I can't do anything but encourage you to do that, you're never too late too learn new things, and if that would have to mean you need to leave CubeCraft, and YouTube (temporarily), then unfortunately it has to be the case. You always have to make sure you watch yourself, and do what you want to do. And who knows, you're able to combine both gaming in general and school perfectly well! And if not, I did it myself, taking a break, is more than fine!

What I want to say with all of this, be yourself, do what you feel like is the best for you, both now, as for your future.

Wether you want to quit YouTube or keep trying that's your choice, but if you keep trying then you'll most definitely end up succeeding at some point, personally, I believe that you should keep making videos but you don't always have to put so much effort into making them you know, the quality of a video isn't always what you need to worry about, no need to put pressure on yourself and take weeks to make a video, unless it's a big project like what you said near the end of your post.

I used to feel like a complete failure too at some point and I still kind of do so I can relate and have experience with what's better to do I believe, trust me, your mental health is a lot more important than trying to succeed in something, if you feel overwhelmed then try taking breaks and/or finding something or even somebody who could help you feel happier and forget about whatever saddens you.
Just talking to a good friend who actually listens can easily boost your confidence and make you feel a lot better, I had my experience with that when I finally got a real friend for the first time almost 2 years ago.

Hopefully this may help you a little bit, I don't know you personally so it's not easy to help you since I have no idea what your preferences are and what your personality is like but I'm glad to at least give you some of my own advices.

My 2 false bans came from 4 years ago when Cubecraft does not have servers that isn't far away from me (it got me 300 to 1000 ping ), both of the appeals are denied. I doubt getting a redemption where all ban records are removed. Now I switched to a better ISP and an internet plan and Cubecraft's severs are now near to me.

If I have total 3 detection from Sentinel that I am "hacking," I'll get permanently banned, which I'm warning everyone that I'm risking that ban,

It was a wide spread bug where players are glitching in their movement when they are falling and Sentinel thinks that they are fly hacking, lots of players got banned too. At least it did got fixed and everyone and me is unbanned.

Like you say, this was back when the servers were far out of your region, and now we also have servers located in America and Asia. :)

Besides that, CubeCraft has wiped all punishments 1-2 years ago, which means if you have not been banned since then, you don't have to worry about getting a permanent ban anytime soon! :D

With that glitch in the Anticheat you mentioned, that's correct, that has been 3-4 years ago if I remember correctly? Alot of players got banned during this glitch, and luckily all of us got unbanned pretty quick. :D

VidIQ suggests to not make videos that are too oversaturated like 100 days hardcore videos and just be unique to stand out from other normie creators doing the same thing.

Every situation is being looked at carefully, there is a chance a Moderator noticed your post and thought it was inappropriate, or if someone reported you for example, these are all ways these things can go.

And of course, to get back to the main point, I'd find it unfortunate to see if you would leave, since I do see you like what you're doing in your main post aswell. But I can't convince you to stay if you simply don't have time for it. I would like to say again, you matter, with every choice that you will make.
