Are you ever bored on The Cube Bedrock & want to hand around the hub?

So why don't you add the treasure finding & fishing hub games from Java onto Bedrock. The code is pre existing (I think) from Java so it would be easy to implement. Something else I would like to see in parity with the Java hub would be the chest finder. Every so often a chest in the hub (for Java) spawns, the chest contains some loot inside of it, and the player has to run around the hub & try to find the chest. Once again the code is already there so it would be easy to implement. This would give players an opportunity to explore the hub on Bedrock.

If you agree then react with an :agree: if you disagree then :disagree: if you are unsure then .

Thank you for reading, have a wonderful day! :oldcube:

Me after re-editing: AHHH MY SPELLING! Second re-edit: We got 15 :agree:, 10 more and I think this will be considered to be added to the server! Thank you guys for your support! Third re-edit: Suggestion system revamp, this is no longer forwarded :( Fourth re-edit: Still nothing (this edit was written on the same day as the third one, Dec 8 2022).

Unfortunately Bedrock and Java are essentially two different games entirely, I highly doubt it's as simple as straight up copy pasting the code.

With that being said however I do agree this should be added to Bedrock as well, even if the code would require some changes!

I don't think it will be as simple as just copying and pasting the code on Bedrock. However, I think boths hubs should be in parity as you said, this means they should have they same things and features, so I don't see why this shouldn't be added.

as a bedrock player i totally agree with it tho i think it’s gonna be hard cause if it was easy as ur saying cubecraft would’ve already done it

Maybe it would be harder. But all the names are already there & the concept is there too. And I Don't think it would be that hard to make as the cube has made much harder projects like their Easter event in 2021 & all their games in general would be harder to code than these two hub games.

I like the idea on itself, however on Java we have points, loot points and xp to put into the chest and besides xp this doesn't exist on bedrock. Also loot is mostly limited to bundles and ranks and a few from events.

The other hub games sound great on bedrock, for sure.

I don't play Java that much (I have only played for 1 hour) but on Bedrock you could make it give out EXP & maybe cosmetics, but if it were to give out cosmetics it would have to be very rare (just an idea).

I think you're wrong here. From what I've seen, in both versions the same plugins and code have been reused from Java since many times I find bugs in Bedrock that indicate things in Java that are not in Bedrock or things like that. I don't know if I have explained it well but I am sure that having the plugins already created from Java, it is much easier to add them to Bedrock instead of creating them directly from zero.

I didn't say it wasn't easier than creating it from scratch, I simply said it's not as simple as copy pasting, Java and Bedrock are definitely different and, in most cases, at least a minimal ammount of changes are required. I do think having it for Java does can make it easier, but you can't just say "the code exists, just copy paste it." Because that's not how it works either.

If the code is already created, it is much easier to add it than creating it from scratch. Java and Bedrock are not completely different, since a lot of Java code has been ported to Bedrock, obviously with a number of changes in some cases. I have never said that it is just a copy and paste completely, but having the Java code already created, in many cases it is much easier I suppose.

Also, I think neither of us are developers. Simply me as a player having played both versions, I have realized that many things, commands etc are exactly the same as in Java, which means that there are indeed things that have been copied and pasted in some way from Java.

example 2.png

As you can see in this image, by executing some commands in Bedrock, Java messages appear, which makes me think that it does mean that there are things that are related between both versions.

This is a good idea, but I believe there are plans to set up a way to spectate friends, and I think that should be implemented first.

Yeah I agree, I would love to be able to do some more in the hub. They have the parkour which is nice but some mini-games like the ones in the Java lobby would be nice.
I see people have already pointed out that transferring the code would not be as simple since bedrock cant run Java-script but it would still be possible to write it for bedrock, I would love to see it.

Bedrock can run on Java script from what I understand. (From my coding experience).

Xp is still an incentive. It's not as good as loot points but it will do.
