Keylogger help!

I'm wondering if I could get a keylogger on my iPad 3. I was viewing the comments on a YT video, and I saw one of those spambots that says the "free stuff" baloney. I went to continue scrolling down, but accidently clicked on the link. I immediately closed out of the app by double clicking the home button and swiping the Safari image up, then I opened up Safari, went to the taband clicked the delete tab before the link could fully load and change.

I read that you could get keyloggers just from visiting websites..can that happen on my iPad, because I touched that link for a second? If so, how do I tell and delete it?

Honestly, I am pretty sure you are safe.
Just to be on the safe side though, I would just change as many passwords to accounts as possible.

even powered it down completely to be safe

DO NOT change your password until you have cleared all download history for the past few days. Changing passwords with a keylogger installed actually makes you a lot less safe, because if you actually do have one, they will get your email, your old password AND your new password.
Try scanning your ipad for viruses if you can (i don't know how ipads work, never had one) and remove any that come up as well.

I haven't downloaded any apps nor purchased anything that would involve me entering my Apple ID password. Theres not really an app I know that scans viruses on Apple, unlike Windows devices.

If I am correct, I do not think you can be keylogged on an ipad without your ipad being jail broken which I am pretty sure you have not done. This is not official information I am just guessing.

Apple products aren't known to get viruses, but those pesky hackers are very smart. If you recently got the ipad, maybe resetting it to its factory default settings would help. (this would mean clearing the entire thing)
This is what my friend sean suggests, and he has a very high intellect on things like this. Just last night, he helped me remove adware from my pc :3

You cannot get a key logger/virus/etc on an iOS device via its web browser under normal circumstances. Period.

The only way you can get anything bad on an iOS device is either by jailbreaking it and installing the wrong things, or by willingly plugging it into every USB port you find in any public place ever. (That assures you will accidentally plug it into a 200v output and fry the thing.) - There are maybe one, or two real exploits to apple devices that work en masse, per decade, and apple patches them the day after, so theres not much you can do to "hack" it.

Because if I don't include the technicalities of why I am able to state so, everyone's going to say I'm wrong, here it is.

The iOS web browser, Safari, uses something called "Sandboxing", it loads every page in its separate sandbox, imagine it as a virtual cyber-fence made out of bits and bytes, where the webpage runs, all that the site can do is show you its contents, it cannot get out of its sandbox and affect the device, the most it can do is annoy you with javascript popups.

Theres not really an app I know that scans viruses on Apple, unlike Windows devices.
