Why is lo lag? i have friends with the same problem
Lag could be caused by many things
Like
-Ping
-Device specs
-Packet loss
-Internet Connection/speed
Examples:
-Ping
- High Ping by itself wont cause lag but it would cause alot of delay, lets say if you punch someone, and 5 seconds later on your screen they get hit then take knockback. Ping is just the amount of time it takes for you (like pressing buttons) to get to the CubeCraft servers (kind of like how sound travels but much faster)
-Device Specs
-The recommended device specs will keep your FPS at a good amount like above 30+ and a constant 30 anything below these specs could cause more frame lag/screen tearing feeling like you are lagging when technically you are not
-Packet Loss
-Now this is what i consider actual lag, packet loss is like pouring water into a cup with the a hole in the bottom some of the water will fall out but not all of it at once if you pour 1cup of water into that cup and close the hole half a second later the lost water would be your "packet loss" the lost water can cause you to get teleported backwards on your end of the screen
-Internet connection/speed
- Kind of similar to ping but you want to be closer to your router, kind of like a fan, you want to be closer to it so you can feel the air flow better, Being behind thick walls with wireless network can cause some packet loss and delayed packets(you cant feel the fan aswell through a blanket!). Your internet speed would also be better for example if you have your multiple devices streaming media onto them over your wifi the wifi will slow down(if someone stands infront of the fan when you are there you wont feel the air aswell)! the best option is to be the only one on the wifi (although this wont happen) i would recommend shutting off devices connected to the wifi that you are not using
