Introducing a New Leaderboard System – Weekly & Monthly Rankings!​

Heeya again CubeCraft Community!
Today, I’d like to suggest a fresh and competitive addition to CubeCraft—a new Leaderboard System that introduces Weekly & Monthly Leaderboards for all the games!

How Would It Work?​

Two Leaderboards per Game Mode:

Weekly Leaderboard – Resets every week (e.g., Sunday at midnight).
Monthly Leaderboard – Resets at the start of each month.

-Top 10 Players only will be featured on each leaderboard. This keeps competition fierce while preventing overcrowding and a dedicated menu/UI section to easily access and view the leaderboards from anywhere in the lobby.

Why Add This?​

1. Encourages Active Competition – Players will have a reason to grind every week and month, rather than a static all-time leaderboard.​

2. Gives More Players the chance to Shine – Some players might never reach all-time leaderboards, but with frequent resets, more people can have their moment in the top 10!


3. Enhances Player Engagement – The thrill of seeing your name on the leaderboard (even for a short time) motivates people to keep playing.


4. Creates Dynamic Gameplay – With constant resets, every week and month feels like a fresh challenge.



Potential Extra Features
(Optional Enhancements) ?

Color-Coded Names: Players in the Top 3 could have special colors or effects in the leaderboard.

Small Rewards: Perhaps a small in-game reward (like cosmetics) for placing in the Top 10 or Top 3.

Per-Game Tracking: Leaderboards could possibly be split by game mode (e.g., SkyWars Weekly, EggWars Monthly, etc.).

If that was to happen and you get a reward then it should be removed after the lb resets or you lose your spot

Its good suggestion and idea but they have do it once in season 1 of egg wars and they remove it i dont know the reason but still the same idea

This is a great idea! I would love this because it gives everyone an equal chance of getting on a leaderboard (even if for a short time).

Personally, I feel like it should go down all the way to 100 for the monthly leaderboard. I feel like the advantages that only having ten places have would still mostly be there even if the top 100 of each month could be featured. This way players with less time will be motivated to aim for the top 100, while the really dedicated ones will aim for the top ten.
