Java Make monthly leaderboards, + rewards.

I mean, it's pretty simple... Make a monthly leaderboard for every mini-game.

About the rewards part: Give the #1 place a prize (Plus rank for a month, or 4-5 seasonal cubelets (where applicable) or 4-5 Uber cubelets), or a (or more) special cosmetic items + a few loot points or normal points.

Give #2 & #3 2 Seasonal cubelet (where applicable), or 2 Uber cubelets, 3 Super cubelets and loot points / points, and a special cosmetic.

Give #4 -> #10 one Seasonal or Uber cubelet, and a few loot points / points. And maybe also special cosmetics.

Obviously, #1 gets every cosmetic that #2 -> #10 get, 2 & 3 get the cosmetic(s) that #4 -> #10 get, and that's about it.


You don't have to reward people for every game. I realize that it's a lot of money to do that with all the games available. Make it one game for each month, per se, this month the top 10 on monthly leaderboards will get prizes, next month it's eggwars, next it's Skyrim, then it's Hourglass, so on and so fourth. I just thought this would be cool.

And I forgot to add a poll and now while editing idk how to, if it's possible even

It works the same way a normal leaderboard works... it's just that instead of being lifetime, it counts the stats you got in one month... it resets every month.

Througt considering your prizes it would be op for partys again since they can do 30+ wins in a day. Basically it would be hard for a normal user to be in leardboard. Yeah skills are not an advantage but common i dont think you have 100% win ratio.
This effect can be seen in Hypixel, where a Clan leaders all the leardboard.

1.8 games do not take faster than 1.9+. Eggwars games take FAR more than 1.9 does, in 1.8.

Plus, keep in mind the amount of hackers that will ruin the game in 1.8.

Seems like a good way to attract players in my eyes, but as stated above, there are a lot of hackers on 1.8 that will ruin other peoples game. So will it only be for 1.9+ or also for 1.8. Anyways, in general this sound like a great idea. Hope this is getting added soon.

Do you get rewards once per month? As in, if you hit the top you get a reward and thats it. So if someone passes you, and you pass that person and claim #1 again, you don't get rewards? Becayse if you do: that's way to overpowered.
If you can claim it ones, then I really like the idea.

I think I might have understood what you said. No, the reward is a one time thing. If you fail to become part of the monthly leaderboard next month, then there's no more rewards for you. If you do win however, yes you get the rewards of that month. Even if you win twice, it still means you won twice, and deserve both the prizes.

Rewards may vary from one month to another, Management can go wild, really.

No obviously, if they hit the leaderboards again, they deserve their price. But because I thought you got the price as soon as you hit #1 - #10, I thought you could cheat the system by getting passed by #2 and then you pass #1..

Click on that, then add poll.

Nice idea Hori, I would love to have this system implement here on CubeCraft. Also making it that the game mode changes every month, will give the smaller games a possible players boost.

Very good idea.
They could call them "seasons" and whoever wins top of the monthly leaderboard can enable a nametag above their head that says something like "S1 Eggwars #1".

It would be nice to add that. For the rewards i dont think rank upgrades or cubelets needed to be. I think that for the #1 there need to be a custom cosmetic or someting like a had or a flollower or someting. If you will add ranks i think that there would be people really trying to win the games and not playing for fun anymore.
Also i think if you reacht the #1 you can not get #1 again if you end up on the leaderbord #2 or 3 that you can join again for better rewards.
