You already can. The command is /fmsg [friendname]. The only issue with this command is that you cannot press tab to complete it and if you dont complete the name (ex: /fmsg TheMilk %^&*($%^&*) it won't work. You also cannot /reply with friend messaging.
You can also do /f list and when you click on your friends name (he must be online) it automaticly fills in /fmsg ..... and you only have to type your message.
