Vibrant Visuals – A Graphics Upgrade!​

Minecraft is getting better lighting, shadows, and reflections in a new setting called Vibrant Visuals! The sun will shine through trees, water will reflect the sky, and even mobs like Endermen will have glowing eyes. And don’t worry—it’s optional and won’t change gameplay! It's like shaders that have much better performance on your Minecrafting device! It will come to java edition as a snapshot first, then as a preview to bedrock soon!(Hopefully consoles like Nintendo Switch will have better graphics soon!)

New Mob: Ghastlings & Rideable Happy Ghasts!​

A brand-new Ghast family is coming!

• Dried Ghasts – Found in the Nether, in soul sand valleys. They look super sad

• Ghastlings – If you take a Dried Ghast to the overworld and put it in water, it comes back to life as a baby Ghast!

• Happy Ghasts – When Ghastlings grow up, they turn into rideable Happy Ghasts! You and up to four friends can fly them around like a sky taxi! This is also useful for showing off your worlds and give you the creative mode eye without the use of external mods!

The first update of 2025 comes on March 25th and adds:
Warm & Cool varients of mobs!
Leaf litter & falling leaves (More nature details!)
And more!

No actually somewhere in the middle of the Live, they said that they would release to Java, and then soon release to bedrock! Bedrock will be a challenge since, most of the devices that use bedrock are low end, so it will require some effort to integrate into bedrock!

I think Vibrant Visuals is very important for those who can't run shaders. I'm interested to see how well it'll run on older devices.

I'm personally more excited about the happy ghasts. I used to think they were meh, but they grew on me!

I..kinda dislike the ghast. It makes no sense for me..

Maybe it will be added to switch but it might only run good on Switch2, depending on if it gets a performance upgrade or not.

Yeah, I'm also really excited about the bedrock shaders because java has plenty that look good, but bedrock's "Shaders" are horrible and don't look good.
