Hello everyone! So the past weeks or even months I have been working on this map and now it's finished so it's time to show it!
In this map I wanted the theme to be mines. I added quite some mineshaft entrances but made sure they don't look 100% Vanilla Minecraft. I customized them a little bit. This spleef map requires a pickaxe to get through 3 layers. All the layers are a combination of Stone and Andesite. The first layer has a mix of Coal and Iron Ores. The second layer has Gold and Lapiz Ores. The final layer has Emerald and Diamond Ores. Now, I know that Cubecraft does NOT accept any Pizza Spleef. But maybe it could be awesome if you get a small effect when you mine an ore (just an idea). The 2 main decorations are the Towers. One Tower lifting up Minecarts (It's supposed to be a Stone Quarry elevator-thing) and the second Tower connected with an industrial oven. These 2 main Towers are connected with Cobblestone Walls that are supposed to resemble Cables. These Cables are used to transport some sort of cart with lots of Ores inside of it. Another side has 2 things that look like a wooden elevator. On the last side I just added lots on Mineshaft entrances. As you can see there are 5 thick pillars in the Spleef Arena making a Cross with Rails on it. There are 4 more rails connecting to this rail because I wanted to make it look a bit messy. I wanted it too look really buisy. I want it to give the feeling every 5 seconds there will be a minecart riding over the rails. The walls around the Spleef Arena aren't too much decorated. It is the best I could think of. For the rocks/mountains covering up the last parts of the map I used a combination of: Stone, Andesite, Cobblestone, Cobblestone Stairs, Cobb. Slabs and Cobb. Walls. I considered adding Cyan Clay to it but I didn't like the look of it.
Keep in mind:
- This Map has been built without any use of World Edit. This means I will NOT change the materials of the layers OR mountains.
- I WANT the rail system to look messy. As if this is a buisy mine.
- I did NOT copy any building from any site. I made these all myself.
- There WON'T be any Minecarts riding around in the map while you are playing Spleef. (Unless the Dev.'s make this possible).
- The pickaxe given for this Spleef Map can only mine Stone, Andesite and Ores. (To prevent getting out of the arena).

This was all I had to say about this map :)

looks great but i feel like you found out the barriers on item frames thing and overloaded on it a little, is there a drop each layer or is it just 3 layers thick. im guessing the pick would instabreak andesite and stone then the iron and coal are more of safe spots, or would it be more like pizza. definitely a nice map concept but it could use some more minor look enhancements to make it cubecraft worthy (hey their builders are great no offence to your build it still looks great) a like the use of minecarts as conveyor hoppers too looks nice. also a lot of things are possible for map aesthetics like the moving minecarts, just have them be ridden by invisible marker armor stands, don't worry about stuff like that its mostly all possible.

8/10 as it is ;)
9/10 if it had some more world edit randomness though i know you didn't use it. (it just feels like its missing that wow for the colour, its almost all gray)
10/10 if the idea for ore gradients was more of a longer process or just more natural, and if the use of the barrier item frames was lesser and more underused

I like this map. It looks technic, realistic to me and it is original - I havent seen similar map - big plus.
Im building "real-sized" house now and also dont use world edit. :D Im too lazy to install.

I like it quite a bit I would continue to add a bit of detail but make sure to do it with some new blocks its becoming far too grey add some iron or stained clay with cobble walls and varients to give it a mechanical look
orange clay tends to look like construction.

I asume you mean that I should make all pillars, bridges and the Towers look mechanical? :P

if that's what you want. that's just a way you could do it. the goal though for you I think is to add some other colors in there to break up the brown and grey

Nice map! But 1 little thing: I think there can be more rails in the air on mid. But other than that it looks realy great :D (my opinion)
