Hey,
while I was playing Cubecraft, I became an idea.
Currently there are only three languages, but there are too players from other countrys.

My Idea:
Players that speak other languages as the currently languages, can help to translate the game.
In the Forums or at the webiste there will show us texts (example: "translate this to german),
and you give in the language with which you translate the text and it automatically translate it.
After the Staff members checked this textes, it comes into the game.
I know it takes much time and it is difficult, but it will improve my and the fun of other players.
How do you like my idea?

I don't know, because for example we don't have Moderators from Denmark, Sweden or other countries.

In case of emergency they can use online translators (like Google translator)
Staff members do not use Google translate because it is rediculously unreliable. As much as I like the idea of more languages because that can only mean more players (& more money for the server), it’s something that will have to take time and slowly be introduced. Feel free to apply for staff (when they reopen) because that’s your best way of trying to get this implemented.

Yes it's true. I hope more players will vote.

This does sound like something that would be a good idea to implemented. One problem is that you have not specified which languages you would want to be translated. The other is that we have to know there are a good majority of our players speaking those specific languages to take the countless days (and weeks) to translate then program everything. If there are 5000 players on, and only 20 of the 5000 speak Swedish, it wouldn't be worth all that time translating for so few people. If there were 1000 then it would help out many more players. Another thing is that we would have to get people translate everything and although all our players could help, not all languages are spoken by our staff members meaning it would be pretty complicated to make sure there are no grammar mistakes. Having a bunch of mistakes on our server doesn't look good. As Remi pointed out above, google translate is terrible when it comes to translating so it's not like we can use that.

There are three languages as you mentioned, to be honest, there's a lot left to translate, I made a thread about it. ( A staff member said that there are currently really busy with projects, they will still keep it in mind, though. Appending new languages is a good idea and it will help a lot of other players who do not speak English, Dutch or Spanish. As RaginC stated, staff will not use Google Translate as it is ridiculously unreliable.

This is true. Translating the whole server takes a lot of time/ Translating the server for just 20 players is just ineffectual. Most of the times, players don't even need an explanation, they will know how the game works after playing several games. I have to agree with you, Bob.
They probably will free some time to further translate the server but this won't happen before 2018. I can almost assure you.

For the thread, yes, I think this would be really convenient for the players who can't read English, Dutch and Spanish. It will only take a lot of time. Nice suggestion, overall.

Other languages are essential to an International server for everyone. Cubecraft is HEAVILY in favor of people who are English, Dutch, and Spanish and I agree that they should add more languages and fix the server things when you switch languages too.

I know there are many french and german players.

You need more proof to show substantial amount of players that speak a specific language. Saying there are a lot doesn't tell us how many (in actual numbers) and % of our player base that speak them. Now it's obviously extremely hard to see this, but I have never seen a french speaking player (and I myself speak french).
