In this thread I'm suggesting a new minigame called Prison Riot! (This bad name will most likely be changed sometime).
What is Prison Riot?
In this game there are 2 balanced Teams: The Prisoners and the Riot Police. This game will most likely end up 50% PVP and 50% Running and escaping. The 'Prisoners' started a Riot in their prison and all across the map you see miniatures that are supposed to be unconsious Guards. Ofcourse then the 'Riot Police gets called' to take order. The Riot Squad will spawn outside of some Police Vans outside the Prison. The Prisoners will all spawn on random locations. When you are in the Police team then you basicly have to smack every Prisoner dead or something like that. Prisoners? I'll explain this later
What is the gameplay?
I'm going to explain the Prisoner Gameplay first. Then I'll explain the Riot Police gameplay.
Prisoner Gameplay:
As a prisoner you will spawn somewhere randomly in the prison. This can be your cell, a guard office or even the canteen! Your Team has the entire management of the prison as a hostage. You will receive orange dyed gear and can attack Riot Guards with Stone Swords. You can also find gear and weapons in the chests to get stronger. If you get killed by a Riot Police then you will respawn and lose NOTHING. Everytime you break rules as a prisoner like: Destroying items and fighting with a Police Guard you get 'Prisoner Points'. On multiple points across the map there will be miniatures acting as a shop and with your points you can upgrade your ABILITIES. Better gear, you'll have to find this across the prison. What Abilities can you buy? This can go from Speed to Strenght or even Jump Boost! This way the Prisoners get stronger and the Riot Police has to win before the Prisoners get too strong. Your job as prisoner is to keep the hostages captured until the end of the game.
Riot Police Gameplay:
Your job is to kill every prisoner and free the hostages. You get a variaty of weapons with gear that is slightly better then the Prisoners Gear.
You get: 2-3 Lingering Potions of Poison (This is a Gas Grenade). 3-4 Splash Potions of Harming (Tear Gas Grenade). 3 TNT You can throw (Grenade), this does great damadge but is hart to kill someone with! You get a shield with a banner that looks like a Riot Shield (
This is the shield I ment). Together with a Stick that has: Knockback and Sharpness, and maybe and Iron Hoe that can shoot a projectile acting as a tazer. And at last 2 Splash Potions of Healing acting as a First Aid Kit.
How will the maps look like?
All Prisons will look diferent. For example let's start with 3 maps: Map 1 would be a Prison inside a city. You can see skyscrapers in the background. Another map could be on a tropical island with a volcano in the background. And the last Prison map could be in a Desert. All maps will have a different Prison Lay-out.
How do you win this game as a Riot Police?
Across the Prison Rooms there are 5 hostages spread on the map. Next to the miniature/hostage there will be a Villager (Same one where Prisoners can buy abilities). The Riot Police has to kill all 4 Villagers in time in order to win. Prisoners on the other hand need to keep them alive. The 5th Hostage will be guarded by a Witch with 1.25x more health then a Villager Shop. (The Witch will give no unique items in the shop).
As soon all 5 hostages have been freed the game ends.
Are you able to respawn?
Yes you will be able to respawn with unlimited lifes as both Prisoner and Police. BUT there is a cooldown for Prisoners ONLY. Why you ask? Riot Police respawns and has to run alway through the prison again to help his team. Prisoners on the other hand would just respawn right after you killed them making it impossible to win. That's why Prisoners have small cooldown.
Riot Police Kits I came up with:
Dog Tamer: Through the entire game you will have a Wolf next to your side attacking all Prisoners. When there are no Prisoners near it will help attacking Villagers or the Witch.
Armed Guards: This kit gives you a Bow (No infinity). Not sure if it will receive enchantments or how many arrows.
Weapon Store: This kit gives you the double amount of potions and grenades.
Armoured Police: This kit will give you stronger armour then other guards.
