Bedrock New PvP System?

I haven't played much Bedrock Cubecraft lately, but I tried CC out a few days ago when a friend told me he was getting some weird "combos" now if you ever played cube you'll know how little kb people take on it and how a "combo" refers to you just hitting him 2 times in a row and thats it.
Well i tried Cubecraft and I was starting to actually combo people (3-6 hits) Now my Ping absolutely sucks, i have 200 ping so getting a combo is virtually impossible. But yeah i want some feedback, have you guys gotten the same weird feeling that Cubecraft changed *something*? Or am i just imagining stuff.

Yea I’ve been comboing full iron guys with stone swords in Eggwars. Idk if it’s new tho

As in you think theres a difference or not?

The only difference ive seen is that players take more kb than usual, like i can actually hit a player backwards half a block than 0 blocks at all, then if i hit a combo they will go flying

Is there any docs to understand how this works?
I do quite primitive , trying to be behind or aside and throw into the abyss whenever possible.
