As of last week, I've had reports I've made against players being denied due to video being edited.
For myself I always show the full unedited clip first of the offender breaking the rules then depending on the footage I might follow up with a repeat of the video; maybe zoomed in a little, even slowed down if a lot is going on all at once, etc.
Example: Let’s say have a clip of someone fly hacking in my game, they are at a slight distance so it is hard to make out the gamertag by just watching the video as it is. Since I have the original video in the best quality possible before posting it, I would then show that unedited clip followed up by a part of it zoomed in slightly (maybe even slowed down a little) to show a clear view of their gamertag. The problem is if I don't do this, I know for a fact the report will be denied due to the gamertag not being clear enough because 1. The moderators won't have access to the better-quality video to see the gamertag clearer and 2. The fact they will now need to go out of your own way to try and zoom into a YouTube video.
Overall, it seems unfair that I'm going out of my way to make the video evidence easier to watch but now are being denied for doing so? Can we instead have a rule stating that as long as the video evidence shows the full unedited clip first before showing anything zoomed in, slowed down, etc it would be acceptable? All I want is to have these players off the server that are ruining the experience for everyone else.
