'Shit' is blocked because it can be offensive in some situations.
Same with global chat and personal messages, that is not an argument. Following that logic, they need to remove the chat filter not only in party chats.
I believe we can live through it, it is not such a big problem. Almost never happens to me.
The party chat filter is there because as I said:
Blocked words are there to warn other players that they are not allowed. And if the server chat rules apply to all server chats, it makes no sense to remove the party chat filter.
Accept it, I don't think it will get removed.
If it offends you, leave the party.
^ The only answer you really need, no idea why I'm going to start a paragraph on why you're wrong.
If you're really gonna be offended by someone saying "shit", then the internet is probably not the best place for you to be in.
Party chat filter sucks. Before, I couldn't even say "...(insert word here)", and I can't even use my favorite emoji ">.>" that I just really like to use in almost every situation. I really just use <.< but that's ugly.
Thing is, the whole point of a party is playing with friends: come on, everyone swears. They ARE going to bypass it. My friend always bypasses "d***" to "dik", "fuck" to "fek" or something, and "shit" to "shiet". They're still reportable. But guess what? No one from both ends care, unless they're just ultimate staff wannabes, going so low to the point that they'd report their own friends for a rank. That's completely pathetic. If you'd look into my DMs, you just can't not see a swear every 5 minutes. It's just that friends always swear with each others. It's just really annoying to have to make your way around the chat filter, just to talk to your friends in the way you want to. If you're THAT offended because you saw a swear word, you can either kick, or leave the party. It's not a big deal between friends. And it's hilarious seeing someone actually defending the party chat filter.

You're missing common sense. Global chat in a game, means talking to probably strangers and people you've never met or talked to. Party chat is, supposedly, meant for friends to play with each others and chat. The day they announced party chat, way too many people quit the server.
CAN I USE MY >.> EMOJI NOW?! THANK YOU.

It does. It's called friends want to talk, thanks. They will talk with the language they want, no matter what you add into the stupid chat filter. It's just annoying.
Accept it, I don't think it will get removed.
Why so negative? We're here trying to solve something by asking for it. What's the point of trying if all you'll think of is "Accept it, they won't add it."
I just want to know why are you against this suggestion so much, unless you're a sensitive little child who would report the slightest swear, even if said by your closest friend... Then sure. Go ahead.
My part of the suggestion is:
- Make it toggle-able, as a party owner: If you're planning to play with friends, toggle the chat filter off.
- Toggle it on if you're partying with random people, or you're just a sensitive person who would get offended from the slightest swear word.
- If you're offended by someone, /p leave.
- You can always still report.
Edit: To be honest, just deal with it. Someone swore, boohoo.
