Piñatas - Vanity expansion
Piñatas are a system aimed to introduce new vanity items outside the traditional cubelet method. They allow you to place a horse suspended by a lead, which can be attacked by players in the lobby to earn rewards. The more damage dealt to it, the greater the reward will be, both for you and whomever placed the piñata.Note that for both the proposed types of piñata, you will deal one damage every time you hit it, regardless of what you hit it with.

Points Piñata
Points Piñatas are acquirable as a very rare reward for winning games. For instance, let’s say hypothetically that you have a 1/16 chance of receiving a cubelet. Winning a Point Piñata may then have a 1/128 chance of being received. The intention with this is to add a bit of suspense to winning a game, rather than handing you a guaranteed reward that evokes absolutely no emotion.
When you place a Point Piñata
So, what does the Point Piñata actually do? Well, when you place it, it’ll spawn with 100 hitpoints. You are guaranteed 3,000 points for placing it, with an additional 100 points per 5 damage dealt from any source. This means you can earn up to five-thousand points assuming it is destroyed quickly enough. However, it’ll despawn fast enough that other players’ help is required to finish it off in time. This means that although you don't have to attack it yourself to get additional points, it'll help if you do.
When somebody else places a Point Piñata
If somebody else has spawned a Point Piñata, then every five damage you deal to it will award you with 100 points. You'll also earn 100 points if the piñata is destroyed in time, and you've hit it at least once. This means you can earn up to 2,100 points from somebody else’s piñata, however it’s extremely unlikely you’ll be the only person dealing damage, nor that you'll destroy it on your own before it despawns.
Lastly, the Points Piñata will feature a gorgeous vanity drop that cannot be obtained through any other means: The Astronaut Helmet. It will come in two colours. Any source of damage has a small chance to award this item, as well as spawning the piñata itself.
Just look at these gorgeous things. You’re telling me you wouldn’t want this as a rare drop from Point Piñatas? Not only would it be a vanity item that holds genuine value (due to its rarity), but it’ll ensure that Point Piñatas also hold some level of suspense when being consumed.
Cubelet piñata
Cubelet Piñatas are similar to Point Piñatas, except, as the name implies, they award cubelets. They’re twice as rare as Point Piñatas, meaning that in the aforementioned hypothetical scenario, you’ll have a 1/256 chance of receiving one; not the easiest of things to stumble upon. However, you also have the choice of purchasing one for 35,000 duplicate points, just in case you want something else to spend your bad luck on.
When you place a Cubelet Piñata
When you place a Cubelet Piñata, you'll instantly be awarded five common cubelets and an uber cubelet. The piñata will have 100 hitpoints and, for every twenty damage it receives, a cubelet will be awarded to you. Lastly, if the piñata is destroyed in time, you'll be awarded an additional uber cubelet. This means that if the piñata is destroyed quickly enough, you'll receive five common cubelets, and two uber cubelets.
When somebody else places a Cubelet Piñata
When somebody else places a Cubelet Piñata, you will earn one cubelet for every ten damage dealt to it. Moreover, you'll be given one super cubelet if the piñata is destroyed in time, and you've hit it at least once. This means you have a chance to earn up to ten cubelets and one super cubelet, but again, this is only hypothetical: you cannot hit it one-hundred times before it despawns, so you'll require other players' help if you're going to get as many rewards as possible.
Lastly, similar to the Point Piñata, you can earn yourself an exclusive vanity item: The Peculiar Block.
Isn’t this just the strangest thing? Once again, this item will be a very rare drop that aims to add suspense to piñata openings.
