Ping contradiction?

Look at these pictures. First, I normally hovered over the little ping icon to see this ping.

But i then pinged the server in CMD and saw this.

Notice how the time is about 20 ms. How is this possible? I am genuinely confused please help

I used /ping command on the server also and it shows 168ms ping

You're pinging cubecraft.net, that's the website. That will have considerably less ping.
