As a player with 150+ reports, I got quite used to the current reporting system, well because it's just simple. But why not have it like the Bug reports? You would just need to fill in spaces like:
  • Player name (that you reporting)
  • What game mode this happened in
  • What hacks are they using
  • Evidence
  • Tell us more (for special occasions)
And maybe this would get rid of the annoying prefix which I always forget to click "player report" as after they moved the bug reports it's quite useless, just have it automatically set as "player report"

Let me know what you all think

Hello! to be honest I'm not sure, with the current system you don't have to put a lot of information, for example, I just put the username and the evidence, and sometimes some extra information only if necessary

And if I want to report an inappropriate username, I just put theusername and that's it

Although it is not a bad idea, only that with the current system it is fine too uwu

Yeh the current system is simple I like it but a change might be good imo

Sorry but I think this suggestion is quite irrelevant for the team to work on at the moment.

First of all, hardly anyone would notice. There are only a handful of players who do Bedrock player reports, many of which I'm sure have gotten used to clicking the "Player Report" button by now. Second off, the "extra information" you suggested is what everyone already does. If more details need to be added to a report, they will be added by the user. Also, I'm sure that the gamemode that this happened in is irrelevant to the report.

Great suggestion, but it shouldn't be a priority right now. It's too minor and hardly anyone cares/notices using the tag anymore.

In my opinion, having just a blank text field with no instructions (on the same page) might scare some new people from reporting

This thread is linked at the top of the page. It gives new players clear instructions on how to properly report.

As a player with 1100+ reports, I wouldn't say so.
I mean all points you've just counted are already part of the current report-web System as you can see here:

So why making a new one with the same features?

If you mean for the forum (Bedrock reports) I agree, but please change the Lable to "Bedrock" ^^
- I wait for a respond for what the suggestion was created for.

This is for bedrock, it should be implied considering he mentioned pre-fixes and the bug report forms. The prefix is fine since forums suggestions are web suggestions.

As for the suggestion, I really like the idea! I think it’d be very helpful for moderators handling the report and easier for reporters to understand, agreed!

Here's how it could look like (What game mode it happened in might be useless) and maybe add the time stamp in the video field?

I think bedrock should have a reporting system similar to Java. When reporting a player on Java you only have to select the offence you are reporting a player for and fill in the template. Also you can check how many accepted reports you have there without counting them.
I think it would be easier both for mods and users.

Really the only things that players need to provide in reports are name(s), type of report (cheating, spamming, etc.), and evidence link. But aside from that, the guarantee that this information is included in players' reports is a great idea.
