Elaborate in like, what would happen with the statistics of that game, the join possibilities, etc.

I think it would be like if you've seen servers that certain ranks can create private servers and people can join those but they wanted it to be for everyone, thing is if you could still get points and level up and had some friends join then it could be abused to getting points and leveling up

You remember all these games that were removed from the server not that long ago? Yeah, that was done for a reason: the server is losing a lot of players. With this you are gonna split a lot of players again, which can and will lead in less players in the normal games (not private).

Then I'd want it but seeing how they make even the most basic features rank-only I'd doubt they'd make this free.

Yes but still, the concept is pretty nice and you can just find a friend or just a random person with a rank who wants to play in a private game with you. In that way you/stone rankers can also play private games (if its rank only)
