Coding Poor and Slow Internet. Any Suggestions?

An Ethernet cable is a direct connection and works almost always - but it doesn't really come in handy when you have a laptop. That's why people choose for a router :p
@Guardi4n try plugging in an Ethernet cable. If your internet works well then, it's probably your router.

The router doesn't just allow you to use the Internet wirelessly. It does other stuff.

@allstarninja expand.. I guess it copes well with multi computer internet connection but the main use is DEFINITELY wifi and providing an SSID

Yeah, but I named one of the reasons, probably the primary reason.
