I have already suggested this before but I cannot remember if it had a dedicated thread or if I suggested it in a comment, as I cannot find it using the search option I'll make a dedicated thread for it...

What is it ?

A visible holographic counter (like the stats) that publically displays the number of banned players in real time.

Why would we need it ?
People don't see the staff, and a lot don't see us doing our job, but see a lot of hackers, therefore they are more inclined to hack, to have a chance against other hackers.
This counter would remind everyone that the server is constantly moderated and banning hackers.
Hackers would be less inclined to hack as this also acts as a dissuasion.

Where can it be found ?
In the main lobby opposit the selfie area.
Under the Rules.

This seems like a great idea, I've seen it on other servers at their form of the old bans.cubecraft.net , which worked perfectly and scares hackers away. +1 for this one :)

I like it too. I do agree that it seems on many servers players think that staff do anything, this is a great way to prove you are diligent on hackers and things like that.

This is something i think is essential for the sake of trust between the reporters and the staff. I remember back a few months ago when the staff would reply to your thread saying "XXX has been properly punished" But i dont get that now, so having this would be more reassuring for people trying to stop the hackers, like myself.

So you think that people are going to catch more hackers if they see the amount of hackers?
It can help with seeing the ban counter for hackers so that players are reassured that the staff are doing their job.
And thats why its not needed. However, it can help reassure.

Can you explain that?
Why would people stop hacking if they see the amount of hackers?
Well some people hack because they think that the staff aren't taking banning and such seriously. If hackers know that the staff are keeping close tabs on people who hack then it may discourage them from hacking because they don't want the ban hammer

I like this. A lot of players say things like "ugh, staff members aren't doing anything", "hackers never get banned" etc.
Having these messages would show the players that staff members are constantly doing things and would remind hackers that they will most likely get banned within days. +1 from me! :)
