Yes, but say they for some reason can only play one game at Break/PE - they need to go with the majority. So, as with a suggestions here, we also need to listen tk the majority. Don't get me wrong, I am completely on the side against this thread. =D

If you go up to someone and say “hey you hanged your hair” following your flawed logic, then that’s surely “stupid” too? It’s not stupid it’s simply a nice thing to do. Simply saying the phrase pfp change is not stupid, it’s as I’ve said before a nice thing to do at the very least

Following your logic, if I'd say "hey you changed your hair" and didn't point out something other than that, then it is for me a bit of "nonsense" But if you'd say "hey you changed your hair, it is nice but a bit shiny, where did you get it from though?" then it would have some sense to it.

I wouldn't find it a nice thing to people who agree with me, just flooding the forums every 20 minutes about a person changing their pfp is not always a "nice thing" People with some relatable pfps that can be commented about and can be laughed at is okay, but just commenting on each person changing to a cat pfp for instance and because you love cats means you need to comment/flood the forums latest posts, I mean 80% at least likes cats, I don't find it that logical, but at the end, it is my opinion and I'll stick to it.

If there are only 9 people playing, and 3 people didn't like football, then it would be boring with only 6 players, right? It is just like the forums, I can see that if you asked people here about this argument then at least 40-50% would say it is somewhat annoying, yes you might play with 6 players but you might not find it good for the community, not forgetting that this is a Minecraft forums-related forums. At the end, what would happen if there was no pfp spotting challenges/comments/posts about it? Other than losing your daily 100 reactions score each 1-2 days. You even used this method of pfp change spotting and light/dark mode to boost your reaction score, so you might say it isn't like farming, but from your nearly 2k reaction score is at least 600 from pfp spotting.

People aren't guaranteed to like it, and it isn't a beg for likes, it's just a statement.

Well, it's annoying, possibly, in your opinion, ok. But that's 10 seconds - move on with your day!

That's not how it works and what I see is constantly the same people liking the 'pfp changed' posts from the same members so this is basically just like farming.

People are liking it as they are supporting it. If anything, that supports your argument, as they are liking the post saying 'pfp changed', instead of creating a while new post, therefore making it better, as they are not spamming up your status.

Firstly those figures are extremely inaccurate. I don’t do it for the likes, nor did I do the light or dark mode for it. Again going by that logic anything slightly repetitive could be “like farming” say posting cat pictures. Ignoring the fact that the user might just want to share pics of their cat, someone out there could say it’s just for the likes. Secondly you are exaggerating the amount I comment with pfp change, and I mean, yeah I’d be quite worried if I was actually getting 100 reactions over two days just by saying the almighty words of “pfp change”.

wait, so you think you don't post "pfp change" like 10 times a day if not more? Nor forgetting that there is 3-6 other people who copy you, which leads to maximum amount of pfp change posts, not only that, but a person can compete on whos first, and let's be honest, it is stupid for 4 people to post pfp change to one poor person, at least stick with your point that it can be something okay, but not if there is 5 people per 1 person sticking with his pfp changes, let's do some maths:
12 people change their pfp, 12 people * 5 pfp spotters= 60 posts that flood the forums.
Also, people post cat pictures, not SPAM them, they don't flood the posts at least, and they can be indeed cute/funny. Like what @MrTommy said, he can post, or lemme say, spam his cat pictures for like 1 post an hour.

, fair to say that you're not defending only yourself. I am not trying to offend anybody here, it is my opinion, and again, I'll stick to it. This is by far one of the most annoying things I've seen on the forums and it honestly makes me not want to change my profile picture. I can't change it without 2-3 people annoyingly repeating this tired joke and me having to tell them directly "Please don't" and delete their comment. I've only gotten to this point because not only am I tired of seeing it on everyone's profile but on my own dozens of times. Now that they are doing it intentionally as well to "carry on the joke" it's purely trolling. Look at the responses from those who claim to do it, none of them take this seriously indicated by their posts which ultimately proves the point. The images shared are good examples of how silly this whole thing has gotten.

I also want to give an example of normal examples of discussing profile picture changes for reference:

Here me commenting on her profile is of relevance because her picture is a snapshot from a game called Genshin and it means she has that character I was inquiring about. Another example is if someone like me for example changes their picture to a cat, it's fine for people to people say "Cute cat" etc.

But the copy/paste "PfP cHaNgEd" on EVERYONE's profile all the time, whether they are purposely changing the profile pictures to do this more or not is completely unnecessary. I have nothing against these people, and my response is not an attack on them, I'm simply providing my POV on the situation. I think this "joke" is really tired and needs to stop. I don't know think punishment would be something agreed upon by the team, but something needs to put a stop to this kind of behavior.

Somebody who had suffered like the other people ^ Just explains it all, no reason to make it, and if it was posted, then it would harm a person. Some might think it is a light joke, but I don't think so, and neither the people whom you can see getting annoyed, + universally it is getting old and it wasn't even funny in the medium of its beginning

I completely disagree. You have made a very bad choice. Why would you do that? There is no logical way. It doesn't help us, but most importantly it doesn't help you. Yes, you... are using dark mode.
